Cannot find mail options?
In classic yahoo mail look at the upper right side of your email page and you will see Options (click on it), then you can click on Mail Options. On the next page click on Spam Protection and then on the next page you can turn on Spam Guard, I also suggest you check "Initially block all images". Spamers use pictures to find out whether they have found an active email address plus they can use them to implant malware and spyware onto your PC. You can always click on the "View Images" button at the top of your email window to see pics in emails if you wish. Mail Options is in the same place for the New Yahoo Mail also.
Cannot find options on basic yahoo mail?
If you're referring to Yahoo Basic mail screen look to the right of your name in the top right of the mail screen. You will see a drop-down box. Click on the down arrow and you should see options. Click on Options and then click on the Go button. If you're not seeing this then you should try the troubleshooting tips in the article below. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! .... NEW YAHOO SUPOSE TO BE BETTER ... WHAT A PAIN!!!. THERE IS NO YAHOO OPTION AND YAHOO DOES NOT LET YOU GO TO THE OLD YAHOO. EVEN IF YOU DO YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS BECAUSE THEY BOTHER YOU UNTIL YOU USE THEIR THE NEW YAHOO ... MEANWHILE I AM STUCKED WITH AN OLD SIGNATURE THAT'S ALL WRONG AND HAVE TO KEEP ERASING BEFORE I ASEN MY MAIL!!!
Yahoo Mail.. I can't find Options?
The star looking this is called the gear icon. Yahoo has eliminated the option to select how many emails to be deleted at one time. That is an old option. It was not available on the previous version either. Where are you getting this information? It's outdated.

I can't access my Yahoo! Mail options?
Sometimes the simplest of fixes work wonders such as type the F5 key to refresh the page clears up a lot of troubles,if not then try this. Type these 3 keys together Ctrl+Shift+Delete and in the window that appears Tick the top box "Preserve Favourite website data"then click on Delete That will clear out your browser cache and is usually enough to fix most problems Last Option If they don't work then a full virus scan may be needed. Where is the mail options in yahoo mail?
It appears that I may found then latest answer. I commensurate with all of you , US! Perhaps it morphed yet again from the old trouble free Yahoo of old. 1. Go to your home page where your mail first comes up. Don't go to this page's sprocket gear or any other Yahoo page, go home doggie! 2. Now once there go to the upper right, not top right, next to your name, this will be the larger purple blue sprocket gear that is under En Español. 3. Right click, there is NO Mail Options per se, rather "Settings" second choice. Left click this. 4. Hurrah, making progress, a square box opens in the center of your page. 5. Now at least you can navigate to what you want. For example: 6. I wanted to associate a name to my email so on the left hand side I went to "Accounts" 7. Left click this and you have another set of options. for this example I clicked "Your Name" . Frequently we get emails from who knows who because the name is an email address that is cryptic and we may even think it's spam when it is say from a friend. So for me I typed in my name so it is now associated with my email. 8. Click SAVE and your good to go ! 9. Please note you may wish to have another email account which keeps your anonymity so you want your cryptic email name. For example you entered a contest at Best Buy for the Newest TV and you don't want your name going to everybody out there which they sell and spread your name all over Manhattan. Hi, * There is no "Mail Options" icon anymore in the new Yahoo e-mail Version. Instead, when you are on your MAIL page, please look for the "GEAR ICON" next to your name. * When you move your cursor to that icon, select "SETTINGS"; In this page, select "Writing email". * You can see "SIGNATURE", but can't click on it. So, in the drop down menu (above to the Message Box), select "Don't use a Signature" option & SAVE it. ** You will see the options for Rich Text; Plain Text & No Signature ** * I have tried to change my signature for many days & chose -- not to use the signature. * Hope this is not too confusing & works out for you.

How do I get Yahoo mail options to open?
I clicked on the arrow next to Options within the Yahoo mail homepage. When I clicked on mail options, the page would not open. It said the following: The website cannot display the page HTTP 500 Most likely causes: •The website is under maintenance. •The website has a programming error. This error has been occurring for over a week. How can I resolve this issue? Or, is there an alternative way I can enable a vacation response and set mail forwarding? I have attempted to open options in both Firefox and Internet Explorer; neither worked.
