Delaware State University?

Hi Im 16 and Im going to start 11th grade. Im a real smart kid but Im lazy as hell. I did so bad this year in tenth grade that I have to take summer school for two classes. Overall I failed tenth grade with a 64. In freshman year i had an 88 average. I know that I can finish 11th grade with an 85 at least, even a 90 if i focus because the only hard class im going to take would be Pre Calculus Honors.I took the SAT in 7th grade aand got an 1150 so I know I can pull of at least a 1500 now with out a problem. I think right now I can get about a 1600-1700 on the sat. By the time i finish preparing I believe I can get an 1800-1900. This is me BEING REALISTIC because I know my potential. Im black also and I kno this is a HBCU school. I also plan to play basketball there. Lastly, I want to go to medical school to study sports medicine. Could I go to DSU, graduate, and then go to medical school? Or do I have to go to a college that has a sports medicine program? So In conclusion, If I focus, I KNOW I can finish High school with an 85 average, and have around a 1700 SAT score. I also plan to let them know I wish to play basketball there and I do volunteer work.

Should I go to Penn State, University of Delaware, or the University of Maryland?

These are my top 3 colleges, and I am torn between which one to go to. I live just 15 miles south of Philadelphia, Pa, so the University of Delaware is the closest. All of my friends are going to Penn State, plus a lot of Pennsylvanians go there. If I don't get into University Park though, I will probably eliminate it. Finally, I have to to tour the University of Maryland this summer, but from the website, it looks like a beautiful campus! Which one should I choose?

Do I have a chance of getting into these colleges?

My weighted GPA is an 89.2, ive taken two honors courses and am taking two AP's now, i got a 560 on critical reading, 600 on math, and 610 on writing. I am captain of my schools basketball team, vice president of my law club, and a chairperson in my community's relay for life...i know its limited information, but based off my stats do you think i could get into 1) American University 2) Muhlenberg College 3) University of Delaware? Thanks so much

Gpa help?university of delaware?

I have a 2.7 gpa now. It is the second semester of my junior year. I take 2 ap class, and got a's b's and 1 d the 1st cemester, but now am planning on getting straight a's bcuz ive become way more motivated. And I was extremmely depressed my sophomore and beginning of junior year rele for no reason, and I never was motivated w/ school. Until now, am really happy :) And school has been better too. So if I get straight A's, I have 7 classes, i caculated it myself, I would get a 2.9, maybe a 3.0. My saying is "If I think its possible, its possible" and I think getting a 3.0 is definetly possible for me. aND maybe by fall of senior year I can get a 3.2. BUT, i want to mainly go to university of delaware (I am instate, and had a sister tht just graduated, so id be a legacy or watever its called lol) And my guidence councelor told me to show interest by tlking to admissions and getting advice from them to tell me what to do. I am trying to become close w/ my guidence counsellor and I am very close with my autocad teacher, so am getting reccomendation letters from them. I also want to try my english teacher, both went to villanova. I just began volunteer at a hospice. I go to meetings, and visit dieing elderly w/ special diseases like cancer ect. at nursing homes, or there house. I am also in astronomy club ...And I played track and soccer during highschool, dont know if I should play another sport this year? Im not very good at them, i just go to the gym. DO I STAND ANY CHANCE AT A GOOD COLLEGE!? and could I possibly take summer classes maybe take pre calculus, tht way I can take calculus next year, and it can also boost my gpa?
