Any girls who have all brothers, no sisters, your thoughts please?
I was just wondering if I can get some of your viewpoints if you are in this situation, or know someone who is. I have 3 sons, and one daughter who is the baby of the family. Their ages are 7, 3, 22 months and 11 months. On the one hand she's got it made right ? There will always be boys in our house, she'll probably have crushes on all her brother's friends. Since she's the baby i'm sure she'll be protected and sometimes smothered by them, never allowed to bring a boyfriend home, lol. And she'll probably have them wrapped around her little finger, driving her to the mall and giving her money. But seriously I am wondering if she'll be unhappy. If she'll always long for a sister, and be lonely because she'll feel they have each other and she doesn't have a sister to share things with. I don't know b/c I have 2 sisters and no brothers, but I know when I was younger I longed for the older brother. if any of you are in a family like this, i'd like to know your opinion. Thanks
When a girl you love says that she loves you but loves you as a friend, what does it mean?
I will share my experience. I met a girl who said the same thing. We were best friends. She was very open and extrovert and talk to lot of guys. But it didn't matter to me much as I also consider her as good friend. Though there was always a doubt in my mind as she was standing on the overlapping region of my acquaintance and friend circle. We used to talk a lot and she used to say that she loves me alot and we will be friends forever and blah blah... I believed her. But down the line things became complicated and we got into a fight and after that everything changed. The reason is simply that she met one of her friend after 4 months they really talked and after she came back she told he is one of her closest friend and she loves him a lot. That caused some unrest in me that she used to say every person it was not a big deal for her. Though I was cautious enough not to fall in the love trap as i was afraid of rejection. However, she told me that she had developed more than friend type feelings for me. But after the fight she was like she didn't damn about me and worse thing for me to digest the coming fact that I never knew'd her even after more than year of friendship plus she never kept her any words. Fast forward ...to give out the blunt truth , it means she only needs you as for emotional support like at time of hugging, sharing feelings when she is depressed , no other person give her shit, or just for time pass and more for various world reasons. There is a possibility that dosent give a damn about you. I was frustrated with fact of being rejected and further of not knowing the person whom you thought of best friend. There was so thoughts clashes, assumptions etc that was just tiring. In time i realized it was just the waste of time and not worth that all. Universe have spent created 13 billion years in creating us, we just cant control it back. Only the wrong person teaches us the right thing. I will suggest you to keep things clear and set the limits as well. Give yourself the utmost priority while taking any strong decision. Just chill and enjoy various phases of life.
How should I handle my boyfriends 8 year old daughters jealousy?
We have been dating for almost a year. His kids love me and I love them. The oldest child is 8 and she is okay with us being friends but she gets jealous if she sees us hug or kiss, and hates when he talks to me on the phone. I get along well with her, it does not seem like she has a problem with me. I sleep at his house allot when he does not have the kids. Last week she came over to his house wile we where out and saw my bag, she got really mad at her dad that I was sleaping there, anything romantic bothers her. He told me that she acts like a jealous girlfriend who is being cheated on, and we are concerned that this type of jealousy might not be healthy. We have talked to her about it before and we thought that she might just not like her dad being with someone other then her mom, but that is not the case, she just does not want him to be romanticly involved whith a female, ,is overly affectionate towards him when I am around, and hangs on him and kisses him constantly, Normal??
How does it feel to meet your childhood friend after many years?
Ah! Those feelings. It felt like I am reliving my kindergarten days, I got every memory he talked about, recapitulated every incident he described and that was a form of happiness I never experienced since past few years.So, I met a childhood friend of mine, Palak (he is a boy :p) after 15 long years, we were together till class 1. And it was not just a normal meeting, the entire series of talks and a very special place we visited together made the entire day very memorable.As I saw him for the very first time, my first words were, “Feels like I am meeting to a new face, a new person with just few strings of memory attached.”Oh man, that feeling of seeing him again and talking about our old classmates, teachers and school developed an urge to just get them all there and have our lunch the way we used to. I couldn’t resist and asked him,“Chal school chalte hai?” (Shall we visit our school?)Which was 30 kilometers away and in a village. Yes, we both used to live in villages and study in a local convent there. And without a single thought he said,“Chal” (Let’s go.)And then followed a road trip with him, to the old school. It was in the same state as when we left it (only the walls were plastered and painted). Felt like the classroom ,the benches, the entire area was actually welcoming us bac. Memories were expressing themselves in form of tears.(This is my school building)(And yes, it’s still the same)(This tree was our peeing spot :p)(And here is Palak, the class in background was our classroom)The entire experience was extraordinary, and we both together then decided to find out other friends who were with us.Thankyou for reading.Cheers!
My daughter has trouble making friends with other girls?
other girls at school could be jerks, backstabbers, or gossipers. maybe they are mean to her. you should ask her how the other kids at school treat her, and if she gets picked on a lot, you can always transfer her to a different private/public school. and if this doesn't work, try virtual school or homeschool. or maybe she just needs to join more clubs at school with other girls her age. sports are a great way to make new friends. try to find out what sport or club a lot of girls her age in her school are in, and see what ones she is interested in. or you could let her have a big party and let her invite girls at school that she doesn't know very well. this way she will get to know them at the party, and when they go back to school the other girls will remember the awesome party, and want to be friends with her! good luck to both of you!

I am sure she will figure it out for herself. We all do, and we all have. No worries here. I think maybe this question is more for you than it is for her. . Ask your Dad. He should be able to share with you allot that you want to know. He was a young man once too, and he certainly has allot more experience on how to please a woman now than he did then. There is etiquette involved here too... and much much more. Ask him! It will probably shock the heck out of him when you do, but hey, what are dads for!! Besides it would be nice if every young girls first experiences with a boy were positive and healthy ones. Ask him!!
What song should a 7 year old girl sing as a talent in a pageant show?
Do not have her sing a song from this generation. The judges want to hear some wholesomeness. So have her sing a song like "Catch a Falling Star" or a Shirley Temple song. I am involved in pageants and judges love to see uniqueness. Many of the girls will be singing Hannah Montana songs. I hope this was good advice. Good Luck!
