Cathedrals, worlds.

Raise passions,
Or calm the madness of kings.

But I can be noted.

"A man was driving alone in his car when he spun off the road at high speed. He crashed through a fence and bounced down a steep ravine before the car plunged into a fast-flowing river. As the car slowly settled in the river, the man realized that his arm was broken and that he could not release his seat belt and get out of the car. The car sank to the bottom of the river. He was trapped in the car. Rescuers arrived two hours later, yet they found him alive. He was unharmed but went insane 3 months later. How come?"

Usually this riddle doesn't include the "He was unharmed but went insane 3 months later" part, and that's the bit I can't solve. He survives the river because it's only waist deep, but why does he go crazy?

Can anyone solve this crossword clue?

Here's why the answer is jambon. This is a British (cryptic) crossword - meaning the clue is in 2 parts, one part is a direct clue and the other part leads to the answer through wordplay (anagram, homophone, etc.)

The first part is the definition "Meat". The wordplay part comes from jelly, or "JAM", applied (put next to) most of rib - which is BONE. Most of BONE would be "BON".

"JAM" and "BON" applied together form "JAMBON", a French word for ham, a type of meat.
