I can choose my own life style in Turkey. Men decide how a woman will dress and live in Iran and Saudi Arabia. Turkey has a 1000 year old cultural and political tradition. Saudi Arabia became a country only after colonialists wanted them to be and only after oil was discovered there. Iran has an ancient culture which it has chosen to forget. It has forgotten that freedom makes culture and has chosen to let mullahs suppress the people. And they call this a cumhuriyet. Duh! A cumhuriyet where the cumhur doesn't have freedom. Turks read more than Arabs. Turks can read more diverse books than Iranis. Arabs don't cry to the verses in Kuran that describe the specifications of the animal to be sacrificed. Turks do, because they don't understand their book and think anything in Arabic is holy. How is that for a list of differences?

apples and oranges ... they're two completely different ethnicities, with different cultures, traditions, biological traits, languages, etc. just like the difference between americans and mexicans ... living in the vicinity of one another doesn't make them the same !!! to some of the less informed answerers : Persians are NOT Arabs ... and vice versa, of course !!
