Dairy Consumers Do You Enjoy Your Igf-1

What is difference between double toned milk and single toned milk?

dairyforall.com says:
Toned Milk

Also called single toned milk, refers to milk obtained by the addition of water and skim milk powder to whole milk. In practice, whole milk from buffalo is mixed with reconstituted spray dried skim milk for the production of toned milk. In India, as per PFA Rules (1976), the toned milk should contain a minimum of 3.0 per cent fat and 8.5 per cent solids not fat.

Double Toned Milk

Refers to milk obtained by the addition of water and skim milk powder to whole milk. Usually buffalo whole milk is mixed with reconstituted spray dried skim milk. In India, as per PFA Rules (1976), the double toned milk should contain a minimum of 1.5 per cent fat and 9.0 per cent solids not fat.

Why are cows fed corn in the US when cows don't naturally eat corn and have antibiotics to stop getting sick?

Oh, but cows do naturally eat corn. If you raised cattle you would know that cows love corn and other grains. True they eat mostly grass but if given the opportunity to get into a field they will eat just about any kind of grain and if they eat too much will founder which is not a good thing. We raised a calf whose mama died and he LOVED tomatoes and cucumbers out of our garden. We do NOT give our cattle antibiotics unless it is a last ditch effort to save their life. We eat the same beef as our consumers do and don't want our grandchildren to be resistant to antibiotics when they need them. We do feed some corn to our cattle we are feeding out to butcher because they put on weight better with it, but they get hay and range pellets too. Why would you think corn makes them sick? There is a lot of corn in many of the foods you eat too. It's all about moderation. You can't believe everything you hear on the news or on the internet.

How does a grocery store get rid of expired food?

Reading Gam Dias’ answer, it seems that the US is remarkably relaxed about food expiry dates. Here in the UK there are two types of date, “use by” and “best before”. The former is used for things that will go bad and become harmful if sold after the date indicated. Thus things like meat, fish, milk, cheese and yoghurt all have a “use by” date. The latter is for foods that do not become harmful or can very easily be seen to be inedible. Things like flour, potato crisps, confectionery and jam have a “best before” date. They may be sold and consumed after this date but will not taste as good.Food that is close to its “use by” date is usually heavily discounted, sometimes almost to the point of being given away. If it is not sold, it is bagged and placed in a dedicated food waste bin. Sometimes it may be given to a charity for immediate use.I currently work for a supermarket chain called Waitrose. Company policy is not to sell anything past its “best before” date to the public, though it may be sold to partners (employees, called “partners” because the company is a part of a cooperative). Some foods never deteriorate, an example being sugar. As long as it’s kept dry, the paper, cardboard or plastic container will probably disintegrate long before anything happens to the sugar. These items don’t have any date on them to indicate by when they should be consumed. Some foods have even stricter regulation. Records must be kept for individual batches of beef, shellfish and certain wet fish. Organic food must be traceable to prove its credentials. Unlike the US, “organic” really does mean something. Food that contains GM food must be labelled as such, as must food preserved by irradiation. British consumers do not like GM and irradiated food, so I am unaware of any readily available products containing these.Separate to “use by” and “best before” dates, food must be safe to eat and of a marketable quality. It is quite legal to sell substandard food if it’s edible and labelled as such. Thus, discount shops often sell bags of assorted broken biscuits.

Why do store-bought cucumbers feel so waxy and is the skin safe to eat?

Yup, they actually put wax on a lot of produce. People are so concerned with how things look that they don't care about what they are eating as long as it looks good. These days produce looks better and better all the time while the taste is dissapearing and I can't help but suspect that this preoccupation with the image of our food has health consequences.

Why is it every time I eat a quesadilla I feel like I'm going to puke?

Wow I thought I was the only one! Okay so this happened to me, too, but I actually went to the doctor and they took a blood test and found out I was actually allergic to avocados (guacamole). It made so much sense cause I got so much stomach pain from eating such foods. If I were you, just avoid the food or go to a doctor and find out if you have the same issue or something different.

What are you tired of explaining to people?

I am tired of explaining evolution to people.“If humans evolved from monkeys then why are there still monkeys?!”“I am not an ape. My ancestors were humans! I do not BELIEVE in that crap!”People see pictures like the above and think they understand evolution.Y’all know, first came chimpanzees and then humans. Case closed, I do not believe in evolution, it’s stupid.Well, maybe if you were not ignorant enough and google searched “evolution” and read for 10 minutes (NOT DAYS, 10 freaking minutes!) you would actually understand the theory of evolution. And it is not like you can “believe” in evolution. It’s not like evolution is solely based on experimental data — and the vile scientists (as always) lie to you.Evolution also makes sense! It is pure logic. For example, ugly people in the 21st century are not marrying because… well, because they are ugly. They do not have kids and do not pass on their genes. This can go on for generations. After several generations, the average physical attraction of humans would be higher than it is now because only the non-ugly people have kids.See? This is how evolution works. In the past, traits that mattered in reproduction and survival were physical prowess (for example, for hunting food) or the drive to reproduce. Moreover, we do not come from chimpanzees.See this tree? This is the actual evolution not what was on the first picture.Chimpanzees and humans had common ancestors. For some reasons (for instance, changing the environment), two species evolved. And, to ask, “why aren’t monkeys turning into humans then?” is illogical and pointless. WHY WOULD THEY?! Evolution doesn’t say humans evolved from monkeys.Evolution says humans evolved from common ancestors (and they don’t exist anymore, because they evolved into humans and monkeys and other species.)Now, if after all of these, your argument against evolution is “my ancestors can’t be apes, you crazy scientists!” then I have nothing else to say.You are a god and your ancestors can’t be apes.Good for you. Just stay away from us. Also, an advice: read some books, you might get educated eventually…

Whats the difference between vegan vs vegetarian? ?

Vegans have much less cruelty in their diets than those who eat non-meat animal products because:
1)Fully half of all chicks hatched for egg-production are killed (gassing is the most humane way)because they are male
2)The abominable treatment of cows in the dairy industry has lead to constant infections, which in turn has lead to constant antibiotics; despite the inoculation most milk is about 1% pus (it is pasteurized,so it poses less of a threat to human health)
3)The dairy and veal industries are disturbingly intertwined, and most male calves born to dairy cows (who are artificially inseminated repeatedly to ensure high milk production) become veal.

Because my diet is lower in protein, my meals don't drop my blood pH so I leech much less calcium from my bones than the average meat or dairy consumer.
Also, vegans don't have any animal protein wastes to make their bodily fluids (including sexual secretions) taste bitter, as meat and dairy consumers do. Scientific fact.
I noticed, and I don't know if this is just in my head or not, but I think my body odor is less pungent since I went vegan. (maybe it just made me more of a dirty hippie so I notice less)

Some disadvantages include:
1) Your grandparents, unless they are Seventh Day Adventists, will not understand.
2) There are a few places that are just not vegan friendly no matter how hard you try.
3) Vegans have to eat more vegetables and other mineral-rich foods because we don't get heme-iron and other minerals from meat and dairy. I like vegetables, especially dark-green leafy ones.
4) B12 isn't in many plant foods, so you have to rely on fungi. I use nutritional yeast on everything, but I'm made to understand that the yeasts that naturally grow on the outside of most sweet fruits (when they are not sprayed with pesticides) are also B12 powerhouses.

Note: Most vegans are not protein deficient; the reality is that most North Americans eat too much protein and that is a contributor to the growing osteoporosis epidemic.
