HP pavilion 17 VS Dell Inspiron 15 5000?

They are both the same price and have the same specs... only difference is the screen display, screen size, and ram (8gig vs 12 gig)

I was wondering what you would choose between the two and why?

Here is a link to both computers..

Dell Inspiron n5110 vs HP Pavilion G6?

I'm looking to buy a new laptop that's affordable, but can still get the job done, something that would be reliable, fast, and could handle occasional gaming. So these two models seem to be the best so far. The prices are almost the same (The HP is a bit cheaper, but my last laptop was a HP and constantly had problems with wifi, so I'm a bit cautious about that), online reviews give about the same results for both, so if anyone here has any personal experience with these laptops, would you be kind enough to help me out?

What is better the hp pavillion or dell inspiron ?

Both Are Good Brand
HP
HP was and still remains one of the biggest and best laptop computer manufacturers in the world. HP is a pioneer when it comes to bringing about innovation in laptop technology. It scores in terms of performance but has seen a dip in popularity due to its lackluster customer support. It's the only laptop computer manufacturer company that can supply you with custom made products according to your requirements. HP still remains one of the best, despite a large amount of competition from other brands. The sheer range and variety of products makes it one of the most unique laptop brands.

Dell
If you want to buy a quality product and price is no issue, then Dell remains one of the best choices. The reason why it's the best laptop brand 2010, in terms of quality, features and performance is its reliability. The Dell Vostro and Studio lines are some of the best in the business with a great combination of features, geared towards top performance. It is tough to single out one as the fastest laptop brand (2010), but it could be a Dell product with its power packed features. With this, we reach the end of best laptop brands list for 2010.

Hp pavilion dv6000 VS Dell inspiration 1545?

I'd go with the Hp. I'm not a fan of Dell for many reasons, the most important being the short lifespan of a dell (you're lucky to get 6 months trouble free, and you're lucky if it even turns on after a year), the ripoff of outdated-yet-full priced technology (once you customize a dell to the STANDARD of a $600 Hp, the dell is nearly $1000), and the poor workmanship on their products (their laptops much resemble bricks; they're heavy, bulky, and rather immobile).

I have an Hp, and I've never had any problems. I have the dv4, but the technology is very similar. I'm not sure about the portability of the dv6000, but I can assure you it's much better than the dell inspiron 15's. Hp's are versatile in work and entertainment, so you won't have any problems, and the webcams are pretty good.
