Did I ruin my chances with her?

There's this girl that I like on my swim team, and I usually talk to her every time she's at practice. Yesterday at practice she came and stand next me, but I didn't say anything to her and we didn't talk once during that practice. She came to practice today(keep in mind it was 5 am) and she got in my lane as usual. I tried talking to her, but she didn't really say anything back, she just smiled. Have I ruined my chances or am I just over thinking things and I am just worried about nothing?

Well this girl at my work was new and when she started working there I couldn't help but glance at her every once in a while, because she is beautiful .She eventually noticed and started looking at me. So I stopped looking at her because I didn't want to seem like a creep. However, I began to notice she would look at me. One day she talked to me and we had a small talk. Then she went to a group of guys at work and one of them tried to playfully kiss her and she screamed my name. I looked over and smiled, I knew they were just playing around. Then later that night when I was going home she said, "take me with you." I think she was just joking around. Is it possible that she is just a flirt?

A few days later I had come down with a cold and didn't say anything to her and just looked the other way, because I was too embarrassed to say hi due to my hoarse voice, however I saw her look at me through the corner of my eye. She now avoids eye contact with me and practically ignores me whenever I'm around. WTF is up with that?

A girl at my gym smiles at me every time we see each other. I have yet to smile back and I m sure it s making her unwanted. Typically girls at the gym are off limits for guys since it s usually "me" time for both parties, and the potential for awkwardness if the relationship goes south. However this is a small town where young single professionals are few and far between and a lot of the members know each other. Because of that I always just assumed she was involved with someone. Now I am kicking myself because I recently learned she was single. I m the new guy in town tall, in-shape, etc. etc. so I m sure she realizes this and wants me to approach her which I plan on doing next time I see her. But I m scared I ruined my chances by no responding to her smiles. HELP!

Okay, I've notice this girl in my 'class'. Before when we both had the same classes, I'd see her all the time. Back in September, I smiled and laughed a bit at what she said to some other female who had said something she didn't really like. Since then I couldn't forget about her. I mean I could but it was hard cause I'd see her every day.

Ever since then I've been eyeing her, not in a stalker-ish way. You know giving her idea that I might like her. I'm not sure if she looks back at me or not cause her glasses reflect the light and all that stuff. Chances are she looks back. But me being me, I'm just too shy to say anything. Yes, yes, yes, I'm afraid of what she might think. And I'm pretty self conscious about myself which doesn't help at all. Everytime I want to say something I just don't because of who she's with or the other people around me. Til' this day, I really haven't said anything to her. The only words that was exchanged was in the class we had. She knows my name but I didn't tell her.....and I know her name and she didn't tell me. I know its not that hard to figure out. But anyways I think I've ruined my chances with her by not saying atleast something. I still see her in the halls still and but I just look at her or either just walk past. And I think I catch her still looking at me while walking past but she does it in a way I would never know. I assumed that she like to draw because her art was hanging on the wall in the hall. Something that I like to do. Did I ruin my chances with this one?

If I ignored her, did I ruin my chance?

I talked to a for about 6mounths, we went on a few dates, but nothing serious. She got clingy, so I had to ignore her. She tried to Txt me a few months ago, but I ignored it. It's been about 2yeaes since we've carried on a decent convorsation. Think she'd just blow me off if I randomly txt her? Did I blow any chance of dating her?

-before you ask why I'd want to talk to/date her: people change...
