Did You Know There Are Three Witnesses In The Michael Brown Shooting

Opinion on shooting of Michael Brown?

The officer faced a 250 pound six foot four inch black guy with a nasty attitude. He was told to stop and he didn't. The facts are that this huge individual, who looked nothing like a 'teenager', but more like a charging rhino believed that the officer would back down. A police officers first general order is to 'control the situation'. If the 'teenager' had been a one hundred twenty five pound 5 foot seven inch individual the officer would have responded with far less force. The officer was totally justified; his life was in danger. But the times we're living in are against him, so the officer must be punished.

What this turn of events means is that no officer in the future will attempt to arrest any black offender unless he or she has every possible based covered. Short of that the offender will be allowed to continue without any attempt at restraint... why risk losing your job or getting sued or both. Black offenders now have a free pass.

Michael Brown Wasn't Innocent?

I'm Ethiopian but grew up in the states and I can say the media has portrayed Michael Brown as law abiding citizen.

Michael Brown robbed a store and tried to be a thug and bully his way through the store so he could get alcohol. Even pushing down a man twice smaller than him.

Michael Brown could have been killed while in the store but didn't but I say karma will you get!

Questions

Why will an officer shoot someone who put his hand down and puts his knees down and gives up.

I'm pretty sure Brown did the opposite and don't you teach your kids not to run-away from the cops.

Michael Brown isn't a teenager but an adult and he is 18 and that is legally an adult.

Michael Brown is just a sad excuse for a grown person.

Michael Brown is thieve and a thug or a thug wannabe but did he deserve to get shot.

Yes charging at an officer will get you shot but did he deserve to die.

That is God's decision and God decided for him to leave this world.

I'm siding with the officer and for black people who see this. Listen this isn't Black vs White but an Officer vs Criminal who just robbed a store! He isn't a kid but a criminal.

Is the media lying to you?

How did Michael Brown solidly, "full force" punch Darren Wilson 2x in face, & yet Wilson had no injuries to reflect that?

Wilson's own testimony does not suggest any injury (serious or otherwise). One of the oddities of Wilson's inteview (Aug. 10, 2014) [ http://graphics8.nytimes.com/new... ] is his account of what happened in the moments immediately following the shooting. (All quotes are from pg. 10 of the interview) He gets about eight to ten feet away, a he's still coming at me in the same way. I fired more shots. One of those, however many of them hit on him in the head and he went down right there. When he went down his hand was still under his, his right hand was still under his body looked like it was still in his waistband. I never touched him.  I said um, got on the radio and said, "Send me every car we got and a supervisor." Fifteen to twenty seconds later, two marked cars show up, code three sirens and lights on. They started blocking everything off. A moment later my supervisor shows up and he sent me to the police station."According the Wilson's testimony: Less than 30 seconds elapsed (i.e., 15-20 seconds for the first cars to show up plus "a moment" for the supervisor's appearance) between his last shot and his removal to the police station (per the direction of his supervisor).I'm not an expert with police procedure but it seems odd that nobody asked him any questions about anything. They just started working to secure the area and he was sent to the police station (within moments of firing the shots). But what is telling is that he was not sent to a hospital or told to wait for emergency services. His supervisor sent him directly to the police station. When asked "What'd you do?" (back at the station) he responded:I went to the bathroom to wash the blood off and I had also realized I had blood on the inside of my left hand from my fingertips to about my wrist. But he testified that he was "not cut or bleeding anywhere."So ...None of his fellow officers saw anything in his physical appearance that suggested physical trauma (requiring medical attention) and Wilson did not request medical examination (but, instead, merely washed Brown's blood off him). How badly could he have been "hurt"????I've been in bar fights where strangers have asked me if I was OK and Wilson didn't get a single fellow officer to show any interest?

Do you think the killing of Michael Brown (August 2014) is a big deal?

In isolation it's not a big deal, except to his family and the community.  It's sad, but would not be a "big deal" more than any other of many deaths that day.But it's not in isolation.  It's one of thousands of incidents and policy decisions that indicate a huge deal.  Broadly:White people with power are afraid of black people. The life and/or freedom of a black person is not worth the price of a box of cigars, a hooded sweatshirt, a pack of cigarettes, or a whole bunch of other things."Riot" is the collective noun for African-American who have legitimate complaints.  Murder of crows, gaggle of geese, herd of buffalo, riot of angry black people. When in doubt, many police officers consider their own safety far more important than the safety of those around them.Even when not in doubt, the police department would rather malign a victim than just admit that an officer made a mistake and apologize for the loss of life.  The life of a black person is certainly not worth the price of a cop's pension. When enough people are angry at the government, the government would rather roll tanks onto the street than listen to the reasons they're angry.Tanks (and other weapons and armor better than what we give to our soldiers in war zones, as far as I can tell) are easily available to local police departments, just in case there's a horrific terrorist attack...or (what I'll call for the sake of striking a nerve or two) some uppity black folks need to be put in their places, which is apparently worse. "Preserving order" apparently means turning peaceful demonstrations into violent riots by aiming rifles into crowds, throwing tear gas, and arresting reporters. No matter how many times we "have a national conversation," we'll see you back here in another couple of weeks/months when the next black guy gets killed for no good reason.  Someone put Al Sharpton on standby, because the media coverage isn't complete without him.In other words, it illustrates a hierarchy.  People with authority, despite the phrase "public servant," are at the top, and must be protected at all costs.  Young black men are waaay at the bottom, with alleged reasons ranging from their dress code to their proximity to crime, but boils down to racism.  Everybody else can float between the two.And that is not only "a big deal," but one of the biggest, at least in the United States.

If Toxicology proves Michael Brown was high on Purple Drank like Trayvon will Libs apologize?

Libs acknowledge that they've EVER been wrong about something??? When they actually do, they end up going out and shooting up theaters and Military bases.
