Do I Have A Chance In Getting Admitted Into The University Of Utah

What are my chances of getting into asu and/or the university of arizona with a 2.5-2.7 gpa in high school?

Take it from someone who has done her research an Is planning on going to either ASU or UofA next year. Pretty much everyone gets into ASU. They accept 92% of their applicants each year, but what can you expect from a party school? LOL. UofA on the other hand is a bit tougher to get into. Their acceptance rate is 80%. I'd say you're probably a decent candidate for either of the universities. Oh, and use your junior year wisely. Time is of the essence. Try to bring those grades up! Also, do your best on the SAT's!!! They use your scores for class-level placement and scholarship opportunities!!!

Can I get into the University of Utah?

You're actually likely to be admitted. The University of Utah uses an index to determine eligibility. Your score is 108 and the cutoff is 96. Since the University of Utah accepts a high level of qualified candidates it is likely that you will succeed in getting in.

If you are an out-of-state student it could be harder to get in since the UofU is a state owned agency.

Brigham Young University- Provo Admissions?

I didn't take the TOEFl, i took the ACT and got a 25 on it, which is pretty average. The average ACT score at BYU Provo is 28, so you'd have to see how your TOEFL score is equivalent to an ACT or SAT score. So on my ACT, I'm on the lower end of the spectrum. But my gpa is 3.96 unweighted, so i'm hoping that it will make up for my low ACT score.

You might get into BYU Provo, but did you apply to BYU Idaho? BYU-I is also a great school and every single person I know that has gone their has loved it.

* I know many people with a GPA equal to or lower than yours that got in, and their ACT was about the same as mine. So with your GPA and extra curricular activity, I think your chances are high of getting in. Idaho is much easier than Provo to get into. Like I said, I really don't know much about the TOEFL, but here is a link concerning the TOEFL requirements for BYU Idaho:

What are the pros and cons of transferring to Drexel University?

I am a freshmen at Weber State University
and I am miserable here, not trying to berate the school or anything,, because it is a good school

But I am incredibly bored here,,
there isnt anything to do in utah,, our pt dorms look like ****
My friends get fined for dumb things
and to top it off im from Cali, and there is an extreme cultural difference out here
to start off everybody is mormon,, and not to generalize but alot of mormons have a fanciful view of reality.

and to make a long story short i basically applied to this school because i didnt have very good grades in high school

and i found that weber ranks high,, and it has an open admissions policy (which means they accept everyone)
so i took advantage lol

But i wanna move to Philadelphia
and the school i am looking at is Drexel University

I called admissions and they said i need at least a 2.5 to transfer and 24 credits

which is fine because i plan to get a 3.2 anyways so i can get a scholarship

SO MY QUESTIONS ARE

assuming i get AT LEAST a 3.0 both semesters of freshmen year

do you think they will accept me with a 3.0

how do you typically raise your chances of being accepted
(i am currently ineligible to play sports this year because of ncaa issues,, so besides sports)

and what other good colleges are there in philly if not drexel

(please dont say Upenn,, cause the odds of me getting in an ivy league are slim to none, plus i hear Upenn has alot of nerds, and i dont wanna be around nerds lol)

My son didn't get accepted to Ohio State University main, will University of Pittsburgh main accept him?

Univeristy of Pittsburgh may have a chance to accept your son. If he didn't get into Pittsburgh, are there any other college that your son have apply to? Sometime university will have a waiting list because they might need to have time to see if they can accept the students or not. There are always a chance to get into university when on waiting list. Don't give hope up and keep trying.
