Do White People Riot And Get Violent When Police Shoot A White Person

Why do people riot when a white cop shoots a black person? What will that accomplish?

Police killings of unarmed civilians must be loudly protested in public if we want anything to change, because the way the system is set up, no justice will occur without  getting the court of public opinion involved.Right now, across the US, almost no officer shooting and killing a civilian EVER receives negative career consequences for their actions, often even if there are multiple witnesses and objective video evidence that the killing was unprovoked. The entire system is stacked to exonerate the police officer. If we, as citizens, could rely on the system to produce a just outcome, we could quietly and calmly allow the system to work. When the system is broken enough to condone widespread murder, the only way to justice is to protest the SYSTEM.And for the record, most protests about police shootings are peaceful. The ones that turn violent mostly get there after weeks of pressure from SWAT-dressed police -- and almost never cause as much property damage and harm as when white people lose their minds over a sports victory or defeat (as with the way the 'celebratory' riot of Broncos fans over the outcome of Super Bowl 50 was covered, and the way the police reacted to the celebrants: Notice This Racial Double Standard in the Coverage of These Rioting Denver Broncos Fans?  ). You don't get to call one "riots" without calling the other "riots" and treating them the same way in arrests and police response.

When has it happened that a black cop shot a white civilian?

It happens pretty frequently I am literally defending black police officer that shot a white man in a case right now. Police officers are every race, religion, and gender have a highly dangerous job and have to shoot or kill people of all races, genders, and religious belief as part of their job. The majority of times the shootings are 100% justified then there are more questionable circumstances and there are blatant violations. Police officers are human beings at the end of the day and are often put in highly dangerous situations where their action or inaction can result in the loss of innocent life. If a kid pulls out a gun in dark movie theater an officer has to make a split second decision of whether to shoot the kid or not. It is possible the gun pulled out is a replica water gun it is possible it is not. If the cop shoots the kid and it was a prank gone horrible wrong and it turns out to be a replica water gun media disaster. If the officer errors on the side of caution and doesn't shoot and it turns out to be a real gun and he shoots and kills six innocent people in a movie theater in five seconds before the cop realizes it is not a fake the officer is blamed for being incompetent and for the loss of the lives of the six innocent people. There is no right answer in that scenario above it is a judgment call and there is no way the officer can be 100% sure what is right until the facts are done. The media can play Monday morning quarterback and stir up controversy to boost ratings all day, but at the end of the day cops are just human beings like everyone else with all the good and bad that comes with being a human being. The media meanwhile shamelessly does whatever it can to get ratings and stirs up controversies without checking facts constantly, but we all watch and at the end of the day the media's bottom line is to get ratings and make money not do a good job reporting. So to sum up the question yes many white people have been killed by police officers, so have Hispanics, Asians, men, woman, etc. Some deserved to be killed, others is debatable, and others were complete trajedies.

Why don't white people protest police brutality when a white woman gets punched in the head repeatedly by a New Jersey cop? If this woman were black, there'd be riots in the streets, right?

Yes, there would be riot on the streets. The reason why is people hav this mentality:White-white=Not Racist.White-Black=RacistI am pro-police, and yes there is previous history in police racism. But the thing is, it leads to protest first. When protests go the wrong way, Riots happen. So you can think that way, but it happens, and it will happen to blacks and whites. But there are stories every single day about white people being beaten by a cop and shot by one having the white guy being unarmed, yet there is only one story about a unarmed black being shot by a white officer, I criticize media on why don’t they want to report everything. It is the media’s fault.NeverthelessCops are blind to race and ethnicity, treating skin color as one thing. They judge by apperance, overall hygene, and cleanliness, if you see a black guy with a suit and smiling and respecting the officer’s commands? Is he a threat? NopeIf you see a white guy who is drunk, and looks stoned and drugged, who is constantly nervous and is resisting officer commands, that is a flag towards an officer. That is exactly how officers should judge, apperance, not race.

Why did people make a big deal out of a white person shooting a black person when they don't make a big deal when a black person shoots a white person (in Ferguson, Missouri, USA)?

Because it has been common for white men to kill black men since we can here on slave ships. Please don't act like the few isolated shootings stack up to the chronic deadly tension between authorities and blacks that has lasted over 400 years. It's ridiculous. Of course people would make a fuss if black men were killing white men on a daily basis; do you really think America is that jaded? I know this mess with Donald Trump probably got you thinking Americans are mentally challenged, but trust me; it's just the ones who are supporting him. It just isn't happening! White people killing black people is extremely disproportionate to blacks killing whites.Black on black violence is just as common as white on white or Mexican on Mexican; everybody kills their own people more than that of another--it is common. People tend to kill those who they are around most and races tend to flock together. What is the majority of people in the suburbs? What is the majority of people in the ghettos? People choose to make "race on race violence" seem uncommon to take away from the real from the real issue. Black people don't say "well white people kill more white people that black people do," because that sounds racist and isn't relevant to the issue we are discussing. It is a "red herring" just like saying "all lives matter" when we are talking about how society seems to devalues the lives of black people. Yeah, "all lives" do matter, but that is not the issue here. All in all, a handful of black people killing whites isn't as big an issue as a great number of policemen killing blacks. Shoot, a handful of Mexicans kill whites, a handful of white kids shoot up schools, a handful of people traffic young girls. These are all issues and they don't stop being issues because I say, "Well, why do people make a big deal about terrorism in France and Brussels, but not about mass kilings in Nigeria?"Oh wait... See now that may be a major issue that is actually worth discussing.

Why do white people hate the Black Lives Matter Movement?

Do white people not care that black people are disproportionately shot and killed by police for little reason. Do white people care if they are shot while protesting? Do white people just want to slaughter all black people?

Black and white people What do you think of the recent white cop shootings?

They are terrible events. Every case of unnecessary violence is terrible, no sane person will disagree with that. What bothers me about the murdering of cops more than the murder of black men is that these were planned events. The cops who shot black men didn’t wake up that day and think “I’m going to go shoot a n***** today”, but the cop killers did wake up that day and think “I’m going to go shoot a p** today”.The death of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were events that got out of control and were terribly mishandled by the police officers present. The deaths of the cops in Dallas and several other attacks on cops were specific retaliation against the deaths of Sterling and Castile. The problem is that each of these acts of violence is feeding a cycle that encourages more violence. When black men are killed, blacks feel the need to arm and protect themselves. When cops are killed, cops are more on edge and trigger happy. All this leads to rising tensions and more violence. At the end of the day we need to stop blaming people or setting up straw men and start determining the root problem of the racial tension; inner city poverty. We need to focus on education and opportunity for inner city kids so they don’t have to resort to crime and violence, continuing the cycle of violence.

Why do white people constantly try to justify the killing of black people by cops?

When Black people are killed by excessive police violence, 2 things seem to always occur.

1. The white community says, "it is the black person's fault for his own death because he talked back/ran from/resisted the police.

First, white people do these things all the time to police and are not shot. Second, do white people really want to live in a police state where you have to obey every word every cop says or face the death penalty?

2. The white community demonizes the black victim and community. They dig up anything that they can use to make it appear that the victim actually deserved to die.

Once again, white people can act with impunity in front of cops and not face any repercussions.
