Does blonde hair wash me out? (pics)
ok, you asked me, so I'll tell you. you look pretty with both colors. the personas are different and you may actually feel different per color. the blonde is soft and natural. I live in Florida now and there are a lot of blondes here, so it's very common, nothing to get excited about. Red heads turn heads. They project confidence, perhaps more daring, and a bit of mystery. They are perceived as 'fiery'. Darker hair makes blue and green eyes pop! so the red hair makes your eyes brighter.so it depends on what you want. a soft natural blonde is what it is. if you want to be blonde and make a statement, go platinum. maybe lighten your eyebrows a bit. if you want to be a stand out from the crowd redhead, and can handle the attention, be the fiery red head above, tint your brows a little reddish, or tone it down with a more natural red that has a touch of brown in it. either way, you look great, it's just the part you want to play. by the way, you look like you have fine hair, so I would not suggest changing it a lot. it's easy to turn a blonde into a red head, but it' not easy to go back to blonde. so play it smart and don't change up too often. you are thinking of going back to blonde, make sure your colorist uses a color remover first, then adds Olaplex to the bleach. and don't expect to be blonde the first time, it may take a couple of salon visits. and if you do like change.... buy a wig, there are some great ones out there, not a lot of money, and you won't damage your hair. thanks for writing and let me know what you do!

Funny story, I chose this (for the highlights, so my base color is still dark) and I got this. I'm like...really, so - clown red, that's what we're doing? LOL.Enough about me, I will rank your colors from my favorite to least favorite:Blonde - I think this looks the most natural, I just love it!Red - I like this look too and depending on the crowd you're in (artsy anime types, GOT types, Jessica Rabbit lovers), you can rock it!Rose blonde - Yeah, so - I feel like this actually washes you out a little.Dark brown/Black - I would suggest not going this dark again. Why do you want to change your hair colour??? You're very pretty and don't listen to anyone who says otherwise!! But to answer your question, I think you will look nice with brown hair but really light shade, because dark won't suit you. Hope I helped! :)
Should I dye my hair brown, or stick with blonde (pics)?
My natural hair colour is dark brown. I have been dying my hair blonde and highlighting it since I was about 13. I am now nearly 21 and am considering a change. I would like to get some honest opinion on what would suit me best? The pics are recent of me with highlighted blonde hair....in the pics where I have a darker shade underneath, that is close to my natural hair colour (as i started only lightening the top half of my hair). I'm planning to go to the hairdressers in the next week, should I get my usual highlights or go for a shade of brown??? As you can probably tell by the first couple of people, I’m a sucker for their blonde hair. It looks gorgeous. I was really conflicted for the colors I chose for Jimin. I couldn’t decide between his black hair and blonde, but I overall thought the black looked best (I’m totally okay if you don’t agree). I also LOVE pink hair, but I was just going through my pictures, and the orange hair struck me as, like, YEAAAAAH. I don’t know. Originally, I was going to do Jimin’s pink hair, but I didn’t. hey girl. i am a stylist so i know what im talking about when it comes to hair. the blonde makes you look younger, but brighter. personally, i like blonde best on you. your face is brighter and you eyes are brighter. the blonde compliments your skin tone and your eyes. the auburn makes you look older. Although the color does WONDERS for your eyes..not so much for your skin tone. I think you look your best as a blonde. and as far as getting that WONDERFUL COLOR POP for your eyes- go with lighter/medium shades of brown for eye shadow and an eggplant color eyeliner. This will bring that POP to your eyes that your auburn hair does..but will let you keep that gorgeous blonde hair that works so well with your skin tone. =) you look great. and as far as people calling you fat- that is ridiculous. i sincerely hope you do not take that personally..that is a relfection on their character..not YOUR BODY. you look great. your hair cut suits you very well. *dont let their negativity bring down you or the great beauty you have going for you. hope my opinions helped!
What colour hair would suit me?
Thanks for A2A FinnI think from looking at your skin tone, you are on the cool spectrum, which means you will suit the cool shades of colours. Anything cool on the spectrum is closer to blue, and anything warm is closer to yellow. I would say you could either go for cool shades of blonde, they are the more platinum shades, as opposed to yellow gold. Think closer to silver blonde when you are cool skin toned. I wouldn't over do blonde though, as it can look draining on fair skin, a little bit of choppy highlights, and low lights is nice.You could go for a slightly darker shade of your natural colour, which would be a shade of brown with slightly more black in it as opposed to red, copper, or yellow. A grey/black shade of brown. You could break that up with a few silvery blonde choppy highlights, and a couple of shades of very dark, almost black low lights.If you go to a hairdresser who understands hair colouring, just tell them you want steer clear of any warm colours.You could also break up a darker shade of brown with berry tones, nothing red with orange in it like a flame, or russet, keep to your cool side of the spectrum with reds which would be berry, or plum shades.Note: You would probably suit this style too, or something like it, but slightly shorter with a more masculine edge.

Well I've had brown hair and my current color is blonde. I kind of want to change it up and maybe soon go with red hair, but im not sure if it would suit me or not. My natural hair color is a darker blonde than what I currently have, my natural is about a level 6 or 7. in my opinion i think the brunette has looked the best on me so far. I have dark thick eyebrows. What hair color suits me?
Several more details are required if you don't mind answering please.What is the colour of your skin?What undertones does your skin hold?Eye colour?Are you wanting to do a natural colour or a funky high pigmentation colour?Eyebrows and hair colour are 2 separate issues. You can go a medium to light blonde (level 7–8 on colour chart) and still have naturally dark eyebrows.Depending on the tones in your skin, you can pull off reds as well. If you are a cool base with blue undertones, a red is best. If you are fair and yellow based, copper to golden is great to compliment your skin.Cosmetic use is another consideration when looking at hair colour. These should be geared toward your skin tone, but I find that people are using any pallet of colour and not going by undertones of their skin. It's preference for each individual, but as a makeup artist, my view is from my education, not fashion trend.
