Does a 5k Tax Refund seem abnormally high for my situation?

Hello, I am curious if someone could help me. I did my taxes and I ended up getting a 5k refund.

This is way higher then what I usually get however I did have changes in 2013 taxes. I have a home office my company doesn't pay for. I deduct part of my office space of rent, as well as the utilities for it, internet, my gas and truck maintenance. Additionally some new home office computer equipment I bought, job tools, and part of my food expenses. Only had 800 in charitable donations (old computer, furniture clothes). Also, at the beg of 2013 mandated from my employer to attend College without them paying, so I was able to write off my tuition. Additionally I qualified due to being full time for the American opportunity credit for 2,400. Overall last year I made 4200.

I never really had this much in deductions nor qualified for a tax credit let alone a 2,400 one. I did this on turbo tax and did look over the numbers and everythign seemed fine, and it showed my audit risk being extremly low. I know they say your doing something wrong if you get money back, but I think maybe I'm in a different situation. Should I be worried???

How do Instagram users gain thousands of real followers without following many of those people back?

I'm so tickled by the notion that when somebody follows you on a social media platform, you must follow them in return. This is so wrong! If I followed every single person who follows me back I'd have a very hard time enjoying scrolling through Instagram. Seriously.People use a lot of different methods to get more followers on Instagram. Most of these methods no longer include spam-following hundreds of people in the hopes they'll follow you back. You can try "natural" or “Instagram-natural” ways to increase your followers counter (I find this the best way to go about it but to each their own). That means creating good content, first and foremost. Work on your photography skills, pick a specific niche and post relevantly, find out what your followers like seeing. Don't just post anything and everything, your Instagram account isn't a trash can. Think before you upload.Consistency is critical. Post on a schedule - if you can't commit to 15 posts per day, try posting just once a day. If that's too much for you to handle, post once every other day. Find a schedule that works for you and stick to it. Also, make sure you're posting when a lot of users are online (you can use several analytics tools to find out when that is).If all you care about is the numbers, you can also buy followers online. There are all kinds of sellers out there and all kinds of services to use, but my best advice would be to try and find a seller with organic followers and not bots (I personally used GetFans in the past and I can truly say they stand behind their word). Don't sign up for any app or website asking for your login info - those are 100% scams and your account will go down the drain along with your money. In addition, you can always be some kind of famous. Hollywood famous, Insta-famous, YouTube famous - these people have millions of followers but it's a long way to go before you achieve their levels of fame, so if you have time and patience, go for it, haha. Most importantly, be yourself and try to have fun on Instagram. If all you care about is getting more followers and it's troubling you that much, maybe you should take a little break and focus on what's actually important in your life. A bunch of random strangers on social media shouldn't be it, you know?
