Does Anyone Know Best Short Layered Haircuts For Women Over 50 Years Of Age

What is the coolest haircuts for 50 year old women with fine, short hair and round faces?

You should aim for a shoulder length style - long hair suits you best and will lengthen face. Loose barrel curls or sweeping of hair with soft edges. You should avoid too much volume at the sides of face, rounded or structured bob styles .Oprah Winfrey has a round shaped face. There is more info about this on our blog.

What is the best haircut for women with round faces?

You could go for layers in the front with the first layer right up to your lower lip or chin (like flicks or long fringes). This will help cover the broad area of your cheeks and jawline, thereby giving your face a more slender look. You could continue with layers all the way down or you could even go for a feather look for the rest of your hair.

Doesn't anyone know what a shag haircut is anymore?

I think a more experienced hairstylist with many years in the field may be able to help you out. I hate to say it, but a lot of younger stylists (myself included) have a minimum of experience with classic cuts, such as the wedge and the shag. Not having experienced a trend when it was most popular can be a huge disadvantage, and many newer stylists tend to pick up the latest versions of haircut styles, without a true understanding of the original cut or it's later adaptations. I recommend finding a quality stylist with a history of working in the hairstyling profession, and bringing a picture of the exact cut you want. Chances are, they will be able to deliver the cut you are looking for (and hopefully, a younger stylist such as myself will be there to witness it and learn something "new".) Good luck!

Do Indian women sport long hair just because of the social pressure? How difficult is it for them sport short hairstyles or hairstyles of their choice?

Thank you for the A2A.Kidding, nobody asked me.I sported short hair till 6th Grade, because it was easier to maintain for a very lazy kid like me. I looked like a boy, and with all my guy dresses (I din't have frocks, legend has it that I hated frocks), no wonder the neighbours thought I was a boy, for a couple of years. My granny and the other older folks detested it. But my mom was firm, because she knew I couldn't maintain it, and since there were many children, schools are the best breeding ground for lice, etc. So Was there pressure?Yes.Family, friends everyone teased me. Labelled me as a boy, with my brave and no-fuck-giving attitude. Then I grew up, and when I was sure I could maintain it, I started growing my hair. I sport long hair, because I like to sport that style. With long hair, I can try lots of hairstyles.[Kidding, I have long hair because I want to be Rapunzel]I look better with long hair.I am very restless and get bored always, fidgeting with my hair is a good time pass.I personally like long hair, though it is a slight pain to look after , it is a beauty to look at.As such, I don't see any pressure in various hairstyles, but boy-cut is still frowned upon. I have a friend, she sports boy cut, and is a little tom boyish in nature, so much that people still mistake her for a boy. So much that she was allotted room in the boy's hostel. People still comment on her when she walks past. Scornful looks and murmurs everywhere. Every man has a different choice. But the men I have met, majority of them like long hair. Also, guys do give a lot of importance to the hair, I feel, because among the compliments I have received, hair does have a big share. So to summarize,There is freedom to choose hairstyles, but boy-cut, for a woman? Nooooooo. Because, boy cut=boy, remember.Hair is so much attached to femininity that the lack of the former somehow implies the lack of the latter, which is annoying.Come on, we don't call hot men sporting 'muns' and long hair gay.Men might or might not like long hair, it is all personal choice. And I would say it would be silly to consider men when deciding your hairstyle. Because, he is not the one who has to oil it weekly, shampoo it bi-weekly, comb it daily and protect it every time from dandruff, lice, dirt, pollution.

Best haircut for a 14 year old boy skater.?

I need a new haircut for school this year. I know it really depends on your head so I have some pics below. Please help me out. I want to change it up. I wanted it shorter. http://imgur.com/a/mNfp4

How much would it cost for a haircut such as : Layers, and side bangs?

It depends on where you go to get the cut. If you go to a place like great clips, probably around $20, but if you go to a professional stylist, upwards of $50. Some places just have a single charge for all haircuts. So it doesn't matter if you get bangs, or don't get bangs.

Maybe you should get a referral from a friend, that way you don't have to experiment with your hair! The stylist may make a big mistake like cut off more hair than you wanted, and you could still be paying $60 for it.

VISIBLE CHANGES OR TONY & GUY??? HAIRCUT HELP!!!?

I'm wanting to get a haircut, going from a boring old long layered style to a short knife cut edges with a dramatic look. Not wanting to color my hair in anyway, just a new haircut. I hear people getting their at Tony&Guys at the mall. I wanted to give Visible Changes a try. But I'm thinking they might be too expensive? Does anyone know the price range for a women haircut for both Visible Changes and Tony & Guy!

Also, which one you rather suggest going to. I'm willing to spend anywhere from $40-60 on my new haircut. I just really want to get it done from professionals - who know what I'm wanting and are able to suggest me stuff.
