Does Anyone Know The Name Or Designer Of This Wedding Dress

Does anybody know the name of the person who designed the pink prom dress for Izzie stevens on grey's anatomy?

Amsale Aberra, she's a wedding dress designer.

Who designs this Say Yes to The Dress featured wedding dress?

I was watching an episode of say yes to the dress and a bride, Justyna, was eloping in Central Park and then flying to Paris. She tried on a dress with a tulle skirt and the top had a high satin neckline with a little rose at the collar? Does anyone know who designs this dress I didn't catch the designers name. Thanks!

I need to know the name of an Italian Designer?

I know of Giorgio Armani, but those initials are G.A...

Who designed the first dress ever?

thank you for answering, but i am looking for a name, specifically, while the toga is very much like a dres, it is not a dress. i am looking to see if any one actually knows the name of the person who specifically designed a dress or gown for the female body. thank you

Pink wedding dress on Say Yes to the Dress?

I saw it and loved it on tonight's airing too! I would love a dress with a little color!

If I find it, I will come back and will post the info!

Edited to add: Okay, I'm working on memory here...but I'm pretty sure I found it!

The bride was Elle Seybold, Episode 10 "What a Bride Wants" from Season 2. And the dress is Lazaro 3819 http://www.jlmcouture.com/Lazaro/Bridal/...

Here is the gown at Kleinfelds website if it matters (need to be a member to view it) http://www.kleinfeldbridal.com/index.cfm...

I'm pretty sure that's it!

Would most brides prefer to buy or rent a wedding dress? Why?

I think that most women do not have full information about all of their options. If I could not sew gowns and didn’t know others who could sew them, I might opt for a rental if I was young and on a modest budget or wanted a dress that could not be remade or easily sold. I don't believe in keeping a gown to try to force a future bride into it. Nevertheless, I have the knowledge and means to get what I like now. I'm also not a standard size, so looking for a previously loved dress on eBay or another site wouldn't work for me.A custom sewn gown fromviously a private designer or a specialty seamstress who is not a huge celebrity like Vera Wang can be done for less than a lot of the dresses one sees at bridal botiques. I would rather have gorgeous high quality silk in the exact style that I want and made to my exact measurements than a name brand “ready-to-wear” gown that is altered from a generic dress size to sort of fit me. No one sees the label/brand when the gown is being worn. I live in the Dallas metropolitan area where there are places with great selections of specialty fabrics available for custom bridal including dozens of shades from purest white to rich ivory, with or without beading. After the big day, a dress made of a natural fiber like silk can be dyed to another color and altered if desired for use as evening wear. There are fairly simple things that can take a strapless white wedding gown to a stunning evening gown with off the shoulder sleeves added or bodice and skirt changes. I would much rather spend $3000 for a custom silk or satin gown that I can wear for years after it is dyed and altered than to spend $1500 on a one use polyester gown with a cute name on the label. Of course gowns can be sewn for much less, and I have helped women who started early and wanted to learn enough to make most of the things for their weddings on a tight budget. There are so many places to buy or get dresses sewn relatively inexpensively where I live that I don't hear much about brides renting dresses.

Should wedding dresses always be white? If not, then what are some cases in which dresses of other colors would be appropriate?

I have designed wedding gowns in Red, Blue, Black, Orange, Pink, Green, and most colors in between! Also, Ombre, as well as gowns with touches of color at bust, waist, train, etc. So, go bold...enjoy...it's your day!With that said.... Most gowns are typically designed in shades of white. Grandmom, Grandmom-in-law, Mother-In-Law, and maybe even your Mom, may be traditional and wish to see their sweet girl in White, (Or, whatever color is traditional in your family's culture (including fiance's family)).I have seen MAJOR DRAMA caused by brides going against tradition and wearing color.  I (Yes, me the designer) even got a call from someone's Grandmother, who came over from the old country for the wedding, and was SHOCKED that I would "Let her Granddaughter wear an Ivory wedding gown!" I listened politely while she told me that, "ALL wedding gowns should only be made in WHITE and only girls who were "less than virginal" (She actually used a different word...rhymes with "bore") wore Ivory."I was pretty speechless, however tried to explain "I was only the designer and have no say in what the bride chooses to wear." ... "That her granddaughter was a wonderful girl and I hoped she has a wonderful time at the wedding..."The moral to this story is: know what you are getting into if you choose an alternate color. Know the temperament of your individual, important relatives and if you are strong enough to take the wrath of the Elder Woman of your Tribe.It is your and your fiance's day, but it is also about family, unless you elope.Ultimately, the choice is yours.... (I LOVE TO DESIGN IN COLOR, SO YOU HAVE MAMA ROSE'S BLESSING;
