Seeing my dead dad in a dream?
I am so sorry you lost your dad just five months ago, and at such a young age. Girls kind of long for the acceptance by their fathers as it helps them out in Life when dealing with boys and later men. If you had a good relationship with your dad then chances are you will also have a good relationship with your future boyfriend and husband. But right now you are feeling lost and bewildered and maybe even unable to cope with the situation. This is not unusual. You may need to find another father-figure you can lean on to receive help....or perhaps even counseling. Not that there s anything wrong with the way you feel, it is just that the feelings are so raw, and deep, that it is best to talk them through with someone who can help you. Onto your dreams.....You are reaching out in hope to reconnect with your dad, even though you know he has passed onto another Life, heaven, etc. (depending on your belief system). Sometimes it helps if there is one place you can go to feel close to him, if it is his grave, or a little space you set up with your favorite photo of him, and a few flowers and a little candle. Just sit and talk to him as you would if he was sitting next to you. It helps as it might bring you comfort. And please do go and seek some counseling to get you past this terrible grief period. Dream that my dead father is alive?
I have regular dreams that my Dad is alive, and he's been gone for nearly 30 years, and I'm now 2 years older than what he made it to. Those dreams vary in their content, but mostly in the dream I know that he is only there for a short visit, as he has no healthy body to come back into. The wiping down with the cloth is also similar to my dreams, where I am taking care of him, to keep him around for as long as possible. I think that it's a normal thing, and means nothing more than the fact that you miss him, and still want him around. We ALL need our parents input into our lives every now & then. After all, they gave us life, and guidance, and when they are gone, it's like a piece of yourself is missing. I don't know how many times I wanted to talk to Dad about some deep, personal issues, and then sooner or later, like a genie, he appears in my dreams. He never talks, but we read each others thoughts. I'd like to think that he is actually coming to me through the spirit world, but I know it's probably all from my own sub-conscience. I wake from these dreams upset at first, but then I look at it, that I was with Dad for a little while, and then I feel not so empty & sad.
Why do I keep dreaming about my dead father?
I keep having this dream about my father. He passed away 4 years ago when I was 9. I've had the dreams 3 times in the past month. In the first dream...we were at a party and we had a good time and then he left...I was screaming, "Dad, don't leave me again, I can't let that happen!". The second dream I was with my friend and there was something like a war going on and we went into a house and hid in this room. We went in, closed and locked the door, turned on the light....and I saw my fathers dead body...I started shaking him and kissing him and he woke up (Which happened when I was 9 , I saw his dead body and kissed it but I didn't know he was dead at the time.)He left and said he wasn't going to let anything happen to me...again i was screaming, "Don't leave me" and "I can't let you die AGAIN." The third dream I had was a couple nights ago.There was a knock on the door and I opened it, It was him....I started hugging and kissing him telling him how much I miss him and then I woke up.

Dreams come from the Lord to help us understand things. They usually are symbolic and not actual. I would say that the rejection that you see in the dream is really God trying to help you to be free from that pain... I see that perhaps that he is healthy could mean that he is now okay and not in pain anymore, and that is good..I am not getting a clear word on it from the Lord so I really do not know for sure but I know of an awsome woman of God who has this specifically as her ministry. She can even let you know what colors are symbolic of... you really should get in contact with her and her team, they are wonderful with working in the prophetic!!!

Why do I keep having bad dreams about my dead father?
Dear Ashley, I am sorry for your loss. Do not be afraid about dreams. Look into yourself from waking life perspective - you've faced hard life experiences and you've lost your dad. Dream about my dead father, that he came back to life?
I often have dreams that my dad comes back, and I am SOOO happy to see him! Last night was a really ellaborate dream, so much detail than i have EVER had in a dream, i thought it was real life. I was in my dads car and he was driving me, my brother and sister. There was so much detail i could see the cars around me, even what type of cars they were. Me and my brother were in the back seat talking to me dad and my brother goes "Things have changed soo much since you died dad" and i was like "I have missed you so much, i love you soo much!" and then i wrapped my arms around him giving him a hug and he huged me back too. And i could feel his hug and everything. My dad kept saying "I know, i know" But he had the same expression on his face the entire time as if he knew something we didnt. And he never talked to us. But somehow communicated to me with out speaking.Thats when it hit me and i said "I cant believe this its like this isint real" And at the moment i was pulled out of the dream.
