Dropped My Ipod Touch In My Cereal This Morning. Now The Sound Isn

Dropped my iphone in milk!?

At Apple's website, they show you where the water damage (or in this case milk damage) alert is on your phone. This is the page with the table showing you where to find it on Apple's website:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3302

The way to fix water damage is this way:

Step 1) Do not press any buttons after the damage has been done. Attempting to press any buttons may shift the moisture inside the unit caused by the water damage, which can result in it pooling under the buttons. This will render the iPhone inoperable.

Step 2) Lay the iPhone on a flat surface under a bright light. This will moisture near the iPhone's surface to evaporate through the tiny cracks in the iPhone's shell. The amount of time you need to leave the iPhone under the light will vary depending on how wet it is. Light to moderate damage should only need one to two hours of light, but more severe water damage will need up to five hours.

Step 3) Get a medium-sized bowl and fill it with uncooked rice. Although it may sound a little strange, placing the iPhone LCD face down in a bowl of rice will help pull out the moisture.

Step 4) Leave the iPhone in this bowl for 2 to 3 days. Do not disturb the rice or try to replace it during this time.

Step 5) Pull the iPhone out of its rice bowl and immediately plug it in to a computer. If you see a "do not disconnect" symbol, then your iPhone has survived the water damage. If not, then you will need to replace it.

P.S. Do not trust DigiExpress to fix your iPhone! There have terrible reviews!

I talk to myself way too much, could this be a sign of borderline personality disorder..?

Hon, you sound just like me! I do the exact same thing that you describe. I have what is called Maladaptive Daydreaming. It's a condition that causes excessive daydreaming. Take a look at this website and see if this is what you are experiencing:

http://daydreamingdisorder.webs.com/

I often do exactly what you mention, as well as creating more elaborate fantasys in my mind. I've been doing this since I was a very small child. If you have this problem, you are far from being alone; there are a lot of people out there who have it as well. Here is even a forum on Yahoo for this problem:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/mal...

I would suggest you look at both sites and see what you think. However, I would also recommend that you get evaluated by a professional in case your problem is caused by some other issue. You can write me if you want to ask me more questions about MD. Best of luck and hope this all helps.

Help losing 15-20 pounds?

Two parts:

1. Diet.
Avoid root vegetables, sweet and juicy fruit, sugar and flour products of all kinds. Avoid all commercial foods that claim to assist slimming. Eat unlimited green vegetables, hard fruit [apples, pears, etc] and raw cereals such as muesli. Have a hot breakfast of porridge with apple; or natural yogurt with the muesli; or bacon and egg; no toast or hash-brown. Eat a piece of meat, chicken, fish or cheese every day; the size of your palm; with green vegetables and a small amount of sauce. Cheese sauce or bottled chutney. Take a different protein like this each day so you don't get bored. As dessert, have unsweetened yogurt or hard fruit with unsweetened cream. If you get hungry between meals, have a hot cup of tea or coffee; no sugar - use an alternative such as aspartame if you need the sweet taste. This may seem a bit restricted but it's only for a few weeks. It is a high protein, low carbohydrate, moderate fat diet. Some people will criticise it as being too high in fat. But it is not a lifetime diet; it is for a few weeks for the express purpose of losing weight. Your cholesterol will not be affected over this short interval.

2 Exercise
The weights may increase your strength but not your fitness or firmness. You need aerobic exercise such as cycling, rowing, treadmill. Something to make you pant and sweat. Do it for 30-40 minutes every two days; or every day if you can devote so much time to it. Walk briskly every day for 20-30 minutes. I did by getting off the metro one stop early on the way to work; then walking for 1-2 km both ways morning and evening.

Results.
I lost 10lb in 2 weeks; 20 lb in 4 weeks. You can do it more quickly because you sound pretty fit to start. Good luck.

OK?

Healthy Eating Plan for 17 Year Old Girl?

I am 17 years old, I will be 18 in February. I am approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, and currently weigh 225 lbs. My ideal weight is between 135-165 lbs, and I am trying to get there before I graduate in May. Currently, I do not eat breakfast, for lunch I have a peanut butter sandwich on white bread (home made), a granola bar, fruit snacks (100 calorie kind) and baby carrots. For dinner, usually we have something grilled or baked like chicken or something like that, but I always have a lot of bread or pasta or potatoes or something starchy at dinner, too. I am really looking for a lot of help here, and am also getting help with a work out from my gym teacher. Please, help me out! I want to look amazing for prom!

I am 15 years old i weigh 205 pounds i want to lose 50 pounds in 5 months or quicker or just lose fat. HELP?

Awwhh bless you! Youve taken the first step though, which is deciding you want to change your body shape and if your mind is set on it im sure your be able to do it! :D

Okay so your metabolism ( or metabolic rate ) it the rate your body burns the food you eat, and its better to make sure it doesn't settle on a certain amount of calories and grams of fat each day, so you have to eat different portions, or just different foods each day.

Whats your favorite food? lets say its chocolate, your going to have a really hard time giving it up right?
So at the beginning of each day, have a little bit of chocolate or whatever your favorite food is with your healthy breakfast, your metabolism is faster in the morning and this will prevent craving your favorite food later! :D

So for breakfast, you could have a fruit and vegetable of your choice or some cereal with low fat milk.
(Remember to change the amount of fruit and vegetable/ cereal your eating per day!)

For lunch, how about more fruit, a cereal bar, low fat yogurt and if you really crave some sugar try jelly, its surprisingly low fat!

Dinnerrr!
Pasta is quite high in calories, but not so much in fat, so this is okay to eat aslong as you do some exercise which we can get round to in a minute!
Dont take meat out of your diet, remember you need protein, but meat IS fattening, so perhaps have some skinned chicken, which has protein but barely any fat.
And, ofc, VEGETABLES :D

Snacking!
Okay so your reaally starving, have some celery :D you burn more calories eating it than you put on, its a complete nothing food!

EXERCIISEEEE!
You need to do 30 minutes of exercise in a day, which as your said you were athletic your probably already doing, so your probably have more muscle than fat, so keep it up! Otherwise theres other options that you can do ^__^

Hulaing ( yep, with the plastic ring you had as a kid) burns 100 calories for every 30 minutes you do.
Running is great, walking is good too!
Swimming is reaaally good, and it makes you feel really relaxed.
Situps are important for toning your tummy, and squats are good for your legs.
Do you have a bike? riding that for 15 minutes burns 100 calories, so maybe find a friend and take a bike ride? ^__^

Good luck!

What is your secret hack for staying productive during the day?

My overall schedule.I was a lazy guy and I had to change.I wake up 6 in morning go for a run.I eat heavy breakfast mostly fruits and vegetables(it helps keep myself fresh all the day)I avoid using earphone or listening songs during working hours. (they really kill a lots of focus and time and hence decrease your productivity).I don't talk or crack jokes with people while I am working on something important or in between work when someone comes to my table (it again drains my focus)During lunch I talk and laugh with everyone crack jokes(this gives a type of refreshment to my mind and I can work better in second half of the day)Same working in second half.At end of the day, everyday I write in my diary daily logs that what I did today, how much work was productive? how much time I wasted that actually can be utilised? how much amount of task I completed which I set yesterday. After that I set my task for tommorow put those task on monitor screen by using stickers. After that I usually play fussball or basketball in office parking. After reaching my room I eat watch some science fiction video (they really provide good knowledge and help make mind sharp as I learn something new. Then I learn or practice new softwares or tools.I sleep at 12.I don't work or think about work on Sunday I completely spend my Sunday doing things refresh my mind which are totally new or different from my work. (this is very important to keep yourself productive and creative)Maintain log of what i am doing everyday and proper refreshments to my mind are key things for me to be productive. And obviously Hardwork discipline and focus and love what you do are necessary.

What is one thing you caught your parents doing that you wish you had never seen?

When I was 14 or so, my parents fought regularly. And when they had a particularly bad argument, my mother would pack up her stuff in their room and come to sleep in mine (and my sister’s) until he managed to woo her back. So this particular time, they had a huge fight, and in her usual hissy fit she brought her stuff over to my room. Perhaps it was because of that they couldn’t get any action. I don’t know, don’t want to know. One particular afternoon, I decided to shower, and went to my room to get my towel. My room door was locked. That wasn’t strange, my mother went to her friend’s frequently at the time and would spend bouts of time in my room getting changed in or out of clothes. And she changed slowly. That time though, I noticed weird sounds coming from the room. Weird sounds as in moaning. I didn’t take anything from that, simply groaned impatiently and knocked on the door. I didn’t ask her to hurry because she has quite a temper and I didn’t want to be yelled at. Some time later, a few minutes or so, the door unlocked, and in I went to take my towel. The first thing I noticed was that the room smelled weird. A pungent, queer smell that made 14-year-old me cringe my nose. Then I had a sudden revelation. The moans. The smell. I stopped suddenly, not being able to move. Please let it be my overactive imagination. Please don’t be true. I took a breath through my mouth, got my towel, and got out of the room. Then I realised I still had my phone in my pocket, having planned to charge it before. I went back to my room, went to charge it, and sneaked a glance at my mother, who hadn’t noticed my return. She was wiping her fingers, which were gleaming in the light, against a wad of kleenex. Suddenly shivering in disgust, I went to push the windows open and fled the room. I took the longest shower that day.TL;DR: My mother masturbated in my room. I never brought it up with her, but thank hell she slept on an extra mattress. Im anon as a way to distance myself from this trauma I guess.
