Failed drug test because of urine temperature?
You have done all that you can. Your urine temperature would not be affected by having drank a lot of water prior to your test, your body will have warmed the fluid long before it made it through your kidneys and bladder to deposit it. Your urine sample may have been too low in temperature because they waited too long after you filled the cup to check it. Liquid starts to cool immediately after it leaves your body. If it sits in the little cubicle in the restroom too long, or if it sits on a very cool surface very long, the temperature could easily fall below what the individual checking the temperature believes it should have been....which if there was much of a delay is a matter of personal opinion. If the sample was clear of drugs and temperature alone was the issue, the voluntary retesting of a candidate you intend to hire is never dismissed. Especially remembering that some drugs like marijuana, will show up in urine for several weeks after a person used them...so retesting a person willing to strip and give a sample is usually sufficient. You will know if he/she pulled something funny on the first test. If that sample comes drug free, usually a company will go ahead and hire the person with the condition that a random "surprise" test will be done at a later date to verify the results. A side note, most companies that use the temperature as a verification of a fresh sample, instead of having a tester stand next to the person and watch the sample being collected, require testers to immediately check the temperature of the sample instead of letting it sit anywhere. I remember for one very sensitive job, they had me strip and walked me over to the toilet and stood and watched me make the deposit. Then had me sit for thirty minutes, and repeated the test....just to be sure I hadn't "bladder loaded" by some artificial means so my urine would be drug free. Fortunately, I never used any drugs or even drank alcohol. But it was unnerving. I wasn't sure I wanted the job after going through that. I sure didn't feel guilty when I used them as a reference for a better job elsewhere.
Can low urine temperature fail me for drug test?
I know you can fail a home drug test if your pee temp is too low because it has a little thermometer type thing on the cup...im not sure about going somewhere and having it done though? good luck.

He can with a thermometer. You don't have to take this test you know. Well, take solace in that testing positive is not a matter the police can do anything about. I would recommend you get some clean urine from a friend and substitute.
Pre employment drug test-Urine temperature too low?
I took a pre employment urinalysis today and of course, even though I would've passed, the temperature was supposedly below 90 degrees F, which is the cutoff temperature...TWICE. They gave me a second chance and it was still too low. I don't know how, but it was. How could that be? I peed right into the cup and gave it directly to them right away. Could the following things affect the temperature? 1. I drank a lot of water beforehand; could it be that the water didn't have quite enough time to heat up in my system before leaving into my bladder? And 2. My overall body temperature is usually not that high, and it was freezing in that place; could that have to do with it? And 3. Might their temperature strip have been affected by how cold it was in that place? It's bull ******* ****, that's all I know; I can't afford, literally and figuratively, to not get this job because of a bullshit TRIVIAL technicality like that.

Presumably you want to pass a drug test using someone elses pee- Well they will check the temp of the specimen, and it can't be more than a 2 or 3 degrees colder than body temp when they do. If this is for probation or parole you're out of luck because your officer will want to see the urine leave your body and enter the cup. If you are not going to be monitered, you should do okay by placing the pee in a zip lock bag, and tapeing it to your inner thigh or under your armpit until you get into the testing facility. Mlgable is partly right. You can't get away with it. You're not dealing with dummies. There's blood type and who knows what else, but you will not get away with it. If you're taking it for medicinal purposes, why don't you have a note from your doctor? Would that be legal? I'm not being a smart-***. Is it legal only in some states? Do you know how many or which ones? Unless you've done it before, I wouldn't recommend it. Good luck. :)
Synthetic urine temperature?
So Friday I went in for my first day at my new job. I have a bottle of synthetic urine that I kept between my thighs (I m fat enough that my thighs completely close around it) it had hand warmers I strapped to it aswell as a temp strip already on the bottle. But the drug test was postponed until monday because work was too busy so the temp strip rubbed off because I had it down there all day. The question I m wondering and cant find anywhere is if I sleep with it between my thighs shouldnt it be perfect body temperture? Should I try and find more hand warmers? Should I bring a thermometer?

Aside from the fact that cheating on a drug test is cause for firing, just like lying on an employment application, there are REAL REASONS for some jobs to require workers to be drug free - like aircraft mechanics. People really don't like to be killed just because someone forgot a "small detail". Convenience stores are less attention-critical. But to answer your question, a heat pack, like a chemical hand warmer pad from a sporting goods department, or one from a pharmacy department like a ThermaCare patch will keep things warm for hours. If you want to be fairly sure your bag won't leak too soon, use a plastic bag (it won't be pressurized like a condom), like a Freezer Ziploc (They are thicker than the regular ones) and then use a heat sealer to melt it closed so it won't leak and then tear or cut a corner off when you need to go. Everyone who wants a job needs a chance to get a job.
