How bad does a tattoo on the inner elbow hurt?

I have wanted a tattoo since I was young, but always wanted to wait for the right inspiration. Well, I've found my subject - but now I have to pick the location on my body. I love the way forearm and inner elbow tattoos look, especially the elbow. Is there anyone out there who's had either of those locations tattooed who could give me some idea of how bad the pain is? For a first time tattoo (and maybe the last), I just don't know if I should go all out and take the pain or play it safe....

Why does my elbow hurt so bad after many hours?

this afternoon at around 1, i hit my elbow on the door frame. it hurt, but it was nothing, just like ran into it pretty hard. it’s been like 9 and 1/2 hours since then and i can’t straighten my elbow or it hurts so bad that i want to scream or cry. i doubt its broken cause it’s not swollen or bruised, just hurting extremely bad. no numbness or tinglie ness. but on a scale from 1-10 it is a 10. why is it hurting for so long??

Do elbow tattoos hurt?

Everyone has different pain tolerance levels. I have lots and lots of tattoos but I really hate the sound of the machine starting up as I don't want to have to put up with the pain. I don't give a shit about manning up and having to endure the pain to “earn” the tattoo. If there was a painless option I would take it. Until that day I will not even think about getting my back or ribs done. I think I would tell the tattooist to stop after ten minutes and have a couple of random squiggles on my skin for the rest of my life where the tattooist started the outline. That's why I was surprised that getting my elbow tattooed wasn't too bad. What I found unpleasant (as opposed to being painful) was the fact that it felt as if my whole body was vibrating as the needles were pushed against the bone.Apart from that it was the standard level of agony.

How bad is the pain of an elbow tattoo?

I have a half sleeve (from my shoulder to just above my elbow. This includes the inside of my arm (not all the way up to my arm pit but pretty close) and I didn't mind any of that pain. Obviously it wasn't the most pleasant experience but it wasn't too bad. I want to extend it and get a full sleeve but the only parts I'm concerned about are the elbow and elbow crease (inside-elbow). I understand the actually tip of the elbow will hurt but if I avoid it slightly and just get the area around the elbow will it be just as bad? Also, nobody elaborates on the elbow crease so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Back handspring help!! My elbows really hurt?

Okay so I'm taking a tumbling class before cheerleading starts back and I just got my back handspring. But everytime I do a back handspring my elbow hurts REALLY bad. Like its not the muscle, it feels like the bone is popping out or something... Its never both elbows, its always the right OR the left. It's the only problem I have and Idk how to fix it... It really hurts!! Am I doing something wrong? If so, how do I fix it? Or is there something wrong with my elbows? Also my elbows are a little bit hyper extended, not that much but just a little. Does this play a part in it? Its the only thing that hurts. Please help!!!

What's wrong with my mechanics when my elbow hurts badly after throwing a baseball 7-8 times?

Someone would have to look at your motion to know for sure, but there are two immediate things to consider. The first is that your legs are at least as important as your arm in throwing the ball. You need to make sure that you are striding hard off your back foot, using your calf and thigh muscles to give you power—in a sense, your legs are leg the bottom part of a catapault, with your upper body providing a kind of whip force using that underlying power as the mechanism. If you’re just using your upper body and arm to throw the ball, you are putting too much pressure there. A fluid motion that starts in your planted food and then moves forward in a sequence that uses your whole body is the key.It is also possible that you already are using your legs well, but you have too much torque in your motion, which puts pressure on the elbow, which is the most vulnerable part of your body in throwing the ball. To address this, make sure that your forward foot as you throw winds up roughly on the same line as your back foot and your target.Your front foot is what you pivot from as you get into your follow-through, where the full force of your arm and body lets the ball go. If it is square with your back foot and in line with your target, the pressure on your arm is minimized and the ball tends to go where you want it to.The tendency is to go wide with your front foot—if you are right-handed, to let your lead foot sway too far to the left, which opens your torso too much and puts all of the pressure on your arm. Essentially, the kinetic energy generated by your back leg gets dissipated across your body, leaving your arm—and especially your elbow, which is the hinge of the throwing motion—to do all the work.I hope this is helpful, but really without watching someone actually throw it is hard to know what the actual problem might be. Good luck!
