Fashion Question Girls Only

GIRLS ONLY: What is your taste in fashion?

My style is simple and feminine. I always go by that old saying "your clothes should be tight enough to show you're a woman, but loose enough to show you're a lady." That being said I don't like to wear things that are too short or show too much chest. For spring and summer I wear anything from chino shorts to oxford shirts to shift dresses. For fall and winter I wear pea coats and knee socks so I can be warm while still wearing a dress. I don't go by trends, instead I prefer fashion from the 50's because it's so timeless and classy. Sophistication and simplicity go hand in hand. And I keep my hair simple yet elegant to match my clothing. So my style would be described as classic and feminine.

GUYS ONLY!- fashion question ( about girls)?

It isn't only the clothing, it's the presentation. If your face is clean, your hair combed, your eyes natural and bright, and your hands clean with nice nails, then your clothing will become a contributing factor.

Think of the girls you know who have all kinds of money for clothing. Some look good because the entire picture looks good. Some can never look hot because the package doesn't fit the wardrobe.

Think of the girls you know who don't come from money, but really make everyone they are with feel better and enjoy their company. They fit their package. They wear what they have comfortably and they project their own person. The don't try to be something created in a salon by a geek with too tight jeans and a tiny muscle shirt. They don't try to be a TV model for Gap.

You are cute when you project cute. If you have a nice smile and you are a nice person, you project exactly what is important to other persons. It isn't the clothing at all.

What fashion questions are moms asking?

A lot of mother's these days want to know why teenage girls wear such skinny jeans and short shirts? Or why do girls wear leggings and hoodies a lot? My mom is pretty young for someone who has a 16 year old daughter. She's 32 and she's always wondering if she should wear things like I do. I think the skinny jeans are okay for anyone really but the crop tops are out of the question. I don't wear them and I don't think it should be a fashion because it looks skanky (pardon my language). For teenage boys, moms are always wondering weather or not they should allow their sons to wear their jeans below their butts. If you're a mother with a son who does this, don't let them. I don't understand why this is a fashion style but it is really dumb. It's rude, disrespectful, and disgusting. Most mothers, and mothers especially question weather the fashion that is in style now is appropriate. Remember that our parents wore things differently than we wear things now so their always debating weather or not certain things are okay.

Why do girls care so much about clothes and fashion?

Because it makes them feel good and gives them confidence.

QUESTION TO GIRLS ONLY: Do you like boys who wear trackies?

I own a pair of black addidas trackies.
I wear them for badminton at college (which is at the beginning of the day) and I don't change into jeans or anything like that afterwards. I just wear the trackies for the rest of the day.

Do girls like this look? Is there any way to wear the trackies to look nice? What brands/styles of trackies are the best?

This is just a curiosity, nothing perverted or anything, but i sometimes see women wear toe rings, which are sexy in my opinion, but i dont see as many...so, ladies, is it a thing of style or maybe a sign that you like when people pay attention to your feet..maybe even signs of foot fetish? thanks

What fashion tips would you like to give to teenage Indian girls?

Mansi Bhalerao thanks for the A2A.First and foremost if I were in college, I’d tell girls that if you really want to go shopping, then don’t splurge on buying a ton of things from a flea or street market.Instead use that money to get a blow dry, and look like a million bucks or to buy a solid dress or pair of trousers from a high street store like Zara or H&M. Additionally there’s a website called ASOS | Online Shopping for the Latest Clothes & Fashion where you can get a ton of amazing outfits for as low as 10 EUR.I know that most of you are on pocket money or make money from a part time job, and it’s best to buy one solid outfit which doesn’t wear out easily as opposed to buying a lot of outfits which aren’t of great quality.A few years ago, I was a student too when I chanced upon Asos. The fact that I lived in England made it easier becase Asos is English, and you get your clothes delivered in a couple of days. A lot of people assume that just because their site is fancy, and that they do stock a lot of high end brands, that it is expensive.I say, just go on it, check it out thoroughly, and then have an opinion. They have a ton of amazing outfits with great quality retailing for a very low cost. Heck, I am not even a student now and I still only buy clothes from Asos because of 2 reasons.I am lazy to go out shopping for clothes, and I hate trying out multiple outfits. The deals I get are fabulous! Also, I mentioned the blow dry bit above, right? Till date, I spend more on a blow dry than I spend on clothes. I believe that blow dried hair instantly makes a girl look way more stylish. Also, if you’re living in a smaller town in England or any place in India, just walk in to the regular salon that’s next to home. They’ll do a blow dry for as little as $ 15. There is a cute little salon that my mother in law took me to in Hyderabad, and they did such a good job on my hair that I can’t tell you! And the wash and blow dry cost me only 10 EUR (Around INR 700) no kidding! I’d rather get a blow dry in that cost over a dress if I were a college student.
