Severe migraine lasting 6 days?
Iv had a very severe migraine going on 6 days now. Iv suffered from migraines since i was 2 years old. This one is especially painful, feeling like someone is taking a hammer to my temples. I feel very nausiated and light and sound sensitive. I have tried taking OTC migraine medications, including Excedrin. I have also tried Imitrex, with no avail. It will go away for a few hours after the Imitrex, but comes back within 3 or so hours, or I will wake up with it almost as bad before the Imitrex. I currently do not have a doctor, I lost my insurance a few years ago. Im terrified of going to the ER, as Im afraid of being called a hypochondriac(the emergency rooms here seem more worried about giving medication to an addict than they are worried about people who are actually sick and in pain) any advice/suggestions? please?

See a doctor. You will want to rule out any serious causes, and if you have recurring migraines, a doctor can prescribe various very effective medications according to the frequency and severeity that you get them. A new kind of headache should never just be dismissed without being checked out by medical staff. It may be a symptom to something chronic and/or serious. Recurring types of headaches should also be checked out, for the same reasons, and then to get treatment so that in the future you don't have to suffer so with them.
I have had an ocular migraine for over six days and it just wont go away any ideas?
This is the first time this has ever happened to me and it's really starting to bug me. I have visited my eye doctor and he said there is nothing wrong with my eyes, then i visited my family doctor and he told me to try advil liquid gels but nothing seems to be working. I just started taking birth control about a month ago and i have read online that it could be the trigger for this ocular migraine. Any suggestions?
Headache keeps coming back?
I'm 18, and I've had a mild headache since Friday night, so going on about 6 days now. It's constant, not unbearable where i'd think it was a migraine, but it does hurt. I've been taking ibuprofen/acetaminophen but once it wear off, the headache comes right back. Is pregnancy a possibility? I've heard of mild constant headaches during pregnancy. Also, this isn't the first time this has happened to me, about a month or two ago, the same thing was happening.
