Gaming Pc Build Question

Gaming PC first build question.?

Here is my current plan.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hct7VY

I am trying to keep it on a budget in the $500-$600 USD (excluding monitors, keyboard, mouse.. ect) Is there anything I should switch to or up grade? I know the CPU chosen is weaker, but I don't plan on playing much demanding games.

Games that I wish to play are: PUBG, CSGO, maybe alittle call of duty, BF1.

Computer will only be used for gaming and basic school work (typing papers and research).

I WILL NOT be video editing, streaming, recording.

Any advice on what to upgrade (within reason) is greatly appreciated.

I want to build a budget gaming PC. Few questions are

1.Sure….The stock fan will be a good solution until you decide to OC your processor….however just to be on the safer side buy a spacious cabinet with room to add fans later. (i myself use amd’s stock fan & I game almost all the time when am not working or sleeping…..no problems so far.)2.Despite popular belief there’s hardly any noticeable difference between the 2 & 4GB variants of the 960 (2–3% increase at most) at 1080p. Maybe in some games like AC Unity you can find the difference noteworthy but overall I’d say it hardly makes a difference….. go with whatever you feel like is best for you.

How to build a gaming pc?

First Figure out if you want AMD or Intel Based Computer. Note AMD is far cheaper and does the job just as good or better than Intel. Intel is very pricey.
second Choose your motherboard if amd for example and processor
Go with an Nvidia video card that does direct x 12 or 12.1
Go with Corsair 750 .. pick any dvd drive any case and get a monitor if you dont have one that has 300 cd or better and refresh rate of 3ms no higher than 5ms
I sugest you get an an 8 core processor... and get two sticks of dual channel 4gb memory sticks G skill memory is good. YOu can find everything and reviews on Newegg.com that is the go to place for building a gaming system.. one last thing processor amd processors have been sized as am3plus for years now the new size is am4... so if you get an am4 processor make sure you get an am4 motherboard.. same is if you get an am3plus make sure you get an am3plus motherboard.. if you get the am3plus sized processor i recommend the amd 8350.. you can save money buy doing that.. copy and paste this information and always have it. people will agree with everything that I say.. this is the formula

Can you build a gaming PC with a maximum resolution in Dota 2, PUBG, CS:GO for only $200-$300 budget?

I have a hard time convincing myself that this is not a troll question. You cannot buy a monitor of the maximum resolution supported in these games with $300.You cannot buy a modern PC, period, with $300.Go on your local Craigslist and see what PC tower you can get with your money. If you already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse, $300 might get you a computer that can run all of these games. If you don’t have any of these things, you will have to get a tower for $220-ish, shop for a monitor with about 80 bucks, and buy the cheapest keyboard and mouse you can find under $20. A computer of this range should run dota 2 and CSGO semi-smoothly, but might not run PUBG at all.If you want my advice : don’t buy now. Save up and buy with at least $500.

What is the best custom gaming PC a person could build at home for ~$500 and/or ~$800?

Quora is full of answers to this question already. Did you just not want to look first because you want to get other people to do your work for you… or did you just not know to look first? Those of us who come to answer the question on a computer, are shown a list of questions to the right, with blue links. And from that list that I’m looking at right now, there are these questions that obviously are very closely related to your question. So much so, that you could have gotten an answer to your question from one of these. What would be the best gaming PC build under ₹50000 (or £500 or $800)?What is the best gaming computer I can build for $900?What are the best parts for gaming computer I can build for $500?What is the best quality gaming PC I can build myself for $800-900?What is best gaming PC build for $500–$650 in India? What is the best gaming PC under $500?What kind of gaming PC can I build on my budget of $800-1000?Can I build a decent gaming PC for $500-600?What would be the best budget gaming PC I can build right now for 400-500 USD?… and again…. these are from the related questions that showed on the page when I decided to answer your question. I didn’t have to go looking for them. When you started typing your question, many of them would have been presented to you as similar questions for you to check out before you finished submitting your question. Are you going to say I didn’t answer your question? I did. There are a number of builds that fit your budget, all within those answers. There is no need to reinvent the wheel here, either repeating the builds that others have already put the time into, or putting time into MORE builds just so people can ignore them in the future… like you are doing.Instead of trying to make other people treat your situation like it is something special and unique, why not make use of all the other times people have asked this question without looking first? Look through the answers to those questions that came before you, and pick the build that someone else already detailed that fits your budget. It isn’t that hard, but it does mean YOU have to do some work here. You can’t expect people to do it for you, just because you asked. The work has already BEEN done. Make use of that.EDIT: If you just want a place to shop for inexpensive computer parts and barebones systems, use Pricewatch Street Price Search Engine

I want to build my own gaming PC. What CPUs or parts do you recommend?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mggBnH

The i7-8700K is the best gaming CPU available right now. Threadripper CPUs like the one you mentioned are designed for use in servers and workstations, which means that they sacrifice single-core performance in favor of multi-core performance. For gaming, it's better to have fewer faster cores than more slower cores.
