What do you think about dog diapers?

I'm getting a puppy, 8 weeks. My parents expect no accidents. (I know you're gonna say that puppies are a big responsibility and nag on me yadyyaddy ya i know) I'm planning to housetrain it, while I'm training it, would it be okay to use a diaper while it's in the house and take it off outside? Or just housetrain it with accident possibility? Cuz my sister was planning on diapering it in the house but I think that'll interfere with the housetraining process and confuse the dog? Any suggestions?

Diaper rash and red chapped cheeks ( on her face)?

I can say yes and yes. My children have all gotten diaper rashes from new foods being introduces and from teething. Are you adding juices to the cereal? That can make it worse. I'm sure you knew that though :)
Although cereal is known as a very bland food.. the starches and fiber in it can very likely cause a change in your child's stool..which then can cause diaper rash.
Because she has the chapped cheeks and this has happened before with her teething.. I would then think it more likely sounds like its from her teething. With my kids it always came hand in hand. But only for the most intense gum cutting time of the teething.
As for diaper rash creams.. I think I have tired them all. And what has worked for my friends kids without fail.. sometimes doesnt work for my kids.. I think it depends on the skin. If you just follow the rule of keeping it dry..so it is allowed to heal it will clear up. My ped. always said to use the white stuff to totally cover it.. (not Vaseline or clear stuff) I myself found that NONE work for my kids. The fastest way I have found to clear a rash up would be getting them out of the bath.. letting them run around the bathroom naked (playing with toys) and aiming warm air from the blow dryer on there tushey for as long as they can stay occupied. Followed up by corn starch or scentless baby powder in there diaper.

How many diapers for a 35-month-old girl?

Firstly make sure you get the appropriate size for her weight and age so double check with the momma about that one as all kids can differ

A nearly 3yr old should need no more than 3-4 diapers during the day at most (unless she poops a lot!) and 1 overnight. So if you can prepare yourself for 5 a day (but more likely 3-4) you will be fine.

childrens paracetamol is great to have on hand too as is diaper rash cream and baby powder.
Make sure you have a few face washers for wiping sticky fingers and faces, baby wipes are too expensive to waste on this.
A small bottle of baby wash may be good to have on hand in case of accidents or her getting dirty from playing or eating and needs a bath
Make sure her mother prepares foods that she is sure the toddler will eat or ask her for a list of foods so that you have the appropriate stuff at your place.
Also tell her to remember to take her blanket or pillow so she has something familiar and comforting for sleep time so you do not have problems when its time for a lunch nap

Toys that are good for that age would be puzzles, crayons and colouring books, finger painting, balls for kicking/throwing, tea sets, dolls, toy cars and trucks

best of luck and have fun! This is a really good age in kids!

EDIT: please don't listen to the 8-12 diapers a day!! That is an insane amount! You'd have to have serious diarrhea to get thru that many, lol!
AND, there could be a good reason why this child is not toilet trained yet people. She's still 2 for goodness sakes! Give the child a break, I'm sure she'll use the toilet when she is good and ready!

My grandmother wipes her face with urine soaked baby diapers?

Believe it or not there have been studys shown where people have used someone elses urine on there skin & it became clearer.urine is also good for a bee sting or if you get stung by a jelly fish have someone pee on you!

Allergic to Costco diapers?

My son had a similar situation but it was with generic Wal-mart diapers, which are probably the same as Costco. It looked like he had a heat rash from his diaper area all the way up to his shoulders. It was really red and very splotchy. In some areas it looked like a really bad sunburn. I took him to the doctor and they gave me prescription diaper cream, which cleared the rash within a couple of days. I tried all the over the counter diaper creams and they would not take the rash away. The same thing happened to him when I tried the Target brand of diapers and some name brands. I really wanted to use generic because he is a twin and buying for two was so expensive. I tried every diaper known to man before we found a diaper he could tolerate. I started using Huggies/Pampers overnights on him throughout the day. They seemed to lock the moisture better and he hasn't had a rash since we started using them. I think the diaper rash might be common in boys, several friends and relatives say they have had the same problems with their sons. My daughter is fine in any type of generic diapers.

One other thing we did that helped was bought a size larger.
