Hotel reservations without a credit card?
Not sure ANY do. Reason being is they want to make sure you can cover any damages in the room. And why don't you have a credit card or bank Visa/MC debit card for your bank account? Too young? Hotels here will not book rooms to anyone under 21, either.

I have a homework question, can anyone help. With only a part time job and the need for a professional wardrobe, Rachel quickly maxed out her credit card the summer after graduation. With her first full time paycheck in August, she vowed not to use the card and to pay $240 each month toward paying down her $8,000 outstanding balance. The card has an annual interest rate of 18%. Howlong will it take Rachel to pay for her wardrobe?

Apply for another card that has lower APR, high credit limit and anuual fees. Don't cancel this credit card and use it once a month and they pay the full balance on time.

I had received this e-mail today and it looks fishy. I do NOT have US Bank and I do NOT have a credit card from them either. They want you to send your personal info to them. Obviously I'm not dumb and didn't send them anything. It's weird because normally e-mails like this will go in to spam but it wasn't in my spam folder. Has anyone else gotten this e-mail yet? Yes you can. Most Merchants require credit or debit cards to have address verification. Your bank may need to activate your card for internet/phone purchases. You may have tried to order from outside of your home country. Some banks require you to activate the card for international purchases even if ordering on the internet. If you placed a lot of orders you may be over your daily authorization limit. Some merchants charge you an authorization and a purchase which looks like two charges because the merchant does not know how to merge the transaction. The authorization is usually removed in about a week. To correct some people above In person US debit card with a Visa or MasterCard symbol can be used two ways at some merchants Use the Credit button and you usually sign for the purchase. Use the debit button and you enter your pin at the pos terminal Online and by phone it can only be used as a Credit Card and you should never give anyone your pin number. All ways come out of your checking account with no delays using a debit card. My experience. You are also protected with debit card purchases. The key is notifying the bank fast.

I have tried several times over the past few months to place orders, either with my torrid credit card, or various other cards and it won t process my orders. Just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this? I m just seeing if this is an issue with the website or just my Insider account.
How to establish credit for a 16 year old?
I'm going to be buying my first car soon so my mom's friend who sells cars told us to set me up with a credit card so I can build my own credit to help me when I buy my car. I'm only 16, and most places won't let me get a credit card even if it's a secured credit card. Does anyone have tips on what I can do to establish credit?
