Help On Finding The Name Of A Song. It Was A Really Long Blues Song With Mostly Solos. Any

Easy Electric guitar "blues" songs; solo's?

Check out this website!

http://bluesforpeace.com/blues-guitar-so...

You can play in the STYLE of any of these (just click the links on the site for any of them:
1. Blues for Eric Clapton
2. Stevie Ray Vaughn
3. Jimi Hendrix
4. Mark Knopfler
5. B.B. King

When I was just getting into learning licks from specific blues guitarists, this ended up being the easiest and most fun for me to learn!

the solo in the beginning of B.B. King's "The Thrill Is Gone" is fun to learn.
"Boom Boom" by John Lee Hooker is pretty good and easy.

Also, definitely check out Muddy Water's "Mannish Boy". It's 1 short chordset, very cool sounding, and if you know that, you can basically play the whole song.
Just pick the open A chord, (5th string) Then play a 3-chord D. (Which is open 4th string, then index finger on 2nd fret, 3rd string. and Middle finger, 3rd fret, second string. Play them all at once) Then back to the 5th string open, then put a finger on the second fret, same string, bend it a bit and let go so it plays the 5th open again and that's the whole song! Listen to the song for how it goes.

Man, after writing that direction, I realize that may sound confusing! lol, if you've got any issues, just drop me a line I'll make up a tab for it.

Blues song structure???

I am a songwriter and I have been writing songs for some years now. But I have began to get into a little blues now and now i want to write some blues songs. Can anyone tell me the lyrical structure of a blues song and any good websites?

Any sad harmonica blues/song?

Are you playing or want a recording? Robert Johnson's tunes would fit the bill, I think, but he didn't play harp. I'm thinking about "Train in Vain" and "Going Down to the Crossroads" and like that. His stuff has been covered a million times, so somebody will have a version out ther for you.

In addition (most contain other instruments but are harp-heavy):

* Check out the Superharps disk and those artists.
* Look for stuff by Howlin' Wolf.
* Find "Evil", recorded by Howlin' or by Koko Taylor.

What is that famous 80s (70s?) song with a saxophone solo that Lisa Simpson played in the Moaning Lisa episode?

Does anyone know the song I am talking about?!

It's an old 80s or 70s song...instrumental, I think...it has a very famous saxophone solo...it has been sampled many times in other songs...and I always hear it but don't know who performed it!/

Lisa Simpson of The Simpsons played it in a very early Simpsons episode called "Moaning Lisa" where she is on a bridge "jamming" with Bleeding Gums Murphy to this sax solo?!

A friend told me Santana did it...but what the hell is this song!? I have been looking for it for years!!

What is the most famous blues solo piano work / music?

If you're talking solo piano, then it's a boogie-woogie argument (although some New Orleanians may disagree). Three that really stand out:"Cow Cow Blues" (1928) by Charles "Cow Cow" Davenport"Pine Top's Boogie Woogie" (1928) by Clarence "Pine Top" Smith"Yancey Special" by Jimmy Yancey • Meade Lux Lewis' version (1936): [sorry, it got yanked from YouTube]• Yancey's version (1943):

What jazz songs have drum solos?

Drum solos can generally show up anywhere. Song of India has some drumming similar to Sing Sing Sing. If you listen around to any type of jazz really, you can find them peppered in everywhere. In fact in many jazz genres, the drummer is almost always "soloing" the whole time. They may not be the only person playing, but he can make unique rhythms up on the spot and he'll throw in some fills and such.

Sorry for not really giving you a straight answer, but you really can find them everywhere...

One song that always has a lot of good drumming and drum solos is Mercy, Mercy, Mercy (the big band arrangement).

Also almost all of the songs that Clifford Brown and Max Roach did together have a lot of drum solos (because Max Roach is a drummer), including Joy Spring, Daahoud, and The Blues Walk. If you go out and by an album such as "Clifford Brown and the Max Roach Quintet" you are sure to find a lot of good drumming and drum solos, not to mention all around good jazz!

What are the best guitar solos of all time?

A lot of beautiful guitar solos are there. But these are some most beautiful or nice guitar solos.High Hopes - Pink FloydIts not only the guitar solo but also the backing orchestral music that makes the moment great. The guitar solo was played using slide technique. Its one of his greatest guitar solos.2. November Rain - Guns N’ Roses:Slash played the it. There are two main solos. But the outro guitar solo was the best. Slash used a lot of string bending while playing it. Then his fast hammer on and pull offs made it even greater. The song is known for the solo.3. Nothing Else Matters - Metallica:Its one of the fewest solos that James Hetfield played. its a ballad. And one of the most famous Metallica songs. Its because of the solo. The great emotional/beautiful guitar solo.4. Altitudes - Jason Becker:Now you may the whole song as a solo or you could say there are multiple solos. I don’t know for sure what to say but there are solos. Especially with the part of Sweep Picking. Its considered as one of the greatest sweep picking solos of all time. Its surprising that he played it when he was 19. Out-strikes most of the guitarists.5. Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin:A masterpiece by Jimmy Page. This solo is considered as one of the greatest solos of all time. Though I find it very beautiful but some people don’t like it. Especially they don’t find it beautiful. But still I think this is one of the most beautiful guitar solos of all time.6. Eruption - Van Halen:Not the first half. But when the tapping parts come it makes a very beautiful sound. One of the greatest tapping solos of all time.7. Sometimes I Feel Like Screaming - Deep Purple:A good match with the riff. Like the song the solo is also very beautiful and emotional.8. Hotel California - Eagles:A great solo from a classic rock.9. So Far Away - Avenged Sevenfold:Synyster Gates and his master guitar solo.10. Let it Be - The Beatles:I’d say its George Harrison’s best guitar solo. Very emotional and beautifully played.Honorable Mentions:Highway Star - Deep Purple:A great solo played very fast yet very emotional. Ritchie Blackmore’s best solo.Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen (1st solo) :The classic song. The solo is quite beautifully played. Especially the first one.Story of the Blues - Gary Moore:Another solo played very beautifully. And several more solos. But these were very great.
