I have computer problems, can you help?
You mentioned that sometimes your cpu runs at 100%. you must first investigate why this is happening. To find that out, open the Task manager by right clicking the task bar at the bottom of your screen and click on the performance tab, then check which process is consuming the most of your cpu-this process could be causing the lag in your pc. I think that this could be the root of the problem apart from faulty cables.I would like to advice you to do the following-Try stopping the process consuming the most cpu resources (from task manager)and stop it to see if the problem persists.Install cc cleaner or tuneup utilities and try cleaning junk from your system.Try reinstalling your graphic driver.Refresh your system- This option restores your pc settings (But Proceed with some care. Read everything that comes on the screen before proceeding)If nothing solves your problem, try formatting your windows partition on the hard drive.Best of luck.

Just recently, like 4 days ago, my computer just randomly locks up. The day before yesterday, I was watching a video in Windows Media Player. I went into fullscreen mode, and everything locked up. CTRL+ALT+DEL did nothing, right click did nothing, had to restart. Start Windows normally at boot, no problems after that. Today, I was coming out of a screensaver and no programs would open. Firefox, Avast, Malwarebytes, no programs would open. Restart computer with the button on the tower, Start Windows normally at boot, no problems since then. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them? I run Avast free and Malwarebytes premium. System specs: Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 AMD FX-8300 16gb RAM Nvidia GTX 970 4gb On-board LAN In the program Core Temp, CPU #0 reads a steady 64°, but I noticed that it did jump to 74° and then to 81°, within roughly 2 or 3 seconds, but then it went right back down to 64°. I haven't updated my GPU in a while, and I'm pretty well up to date with Windows updates. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Computer problems?
A friend has an older computer, and when he goes to Y/A it does the "illegal operation sign pop up" & closes him out. He is using a 2000 HP computer with windows 98. How can he "access" the Yahoo Answers program on his computer? Or what is causing the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
ECOT Computer Problem? Help?
I just got my Ecot computer yesterday. I didn't have internet until today but so I shut it off. now everytime I try to turn it on it says no signal and like basically turns off. I don't know Whats wrong with it?

Is the CD in? Edit: May just be issues with the actual disk, try cleaning it with a very soft cloth (like you'd clean glasses with), and reinsert the Cd. If that does not work, make sure it is the right CD.

OK, so as I understand it, you had three computers.Computer 1 has a GPU and an HDDComputer 2 has no GPU and a corrupted HDDComputer 3 has an HDDYou took the GPU out of computer 1 and installed it in computer 2You took the HDD out of computer 3 and installed it in computer 2You want to take the HDD and GPU out of computer 2 and install them in computer 1.Let me know if this scenario is wrong, but given the above:If you were to boot computer 1 from the new hard drive, you would not need to reinstall the GPU drivers. You may have to install drivers for other things to work properly, but the GPU drivers you installed for computer 2 should work fine, so long as it’s the same GPU.
