How Can I Do Better In School Like Right Now

Does life get better after high school? I'm in it and I feel if life doesn't change, why should I keep on going?

Yes, life after high school gets better.I can say with 100% certainty that the year after I left high school was the best year of my life. Here’s why:During high school, life can sometimes feel a bit pointless, because you don’t have control over 90% of what you do. You don’t get to choose most of what you spend your time doing, and unless you have a part-time job, what you are working for can feel like it has no real meaning. But after school, this changes.Once you’ve finished high school, you get to choose to study or not to study, to work full-time or part-time, to travel, to holiday, or to engage in your own interests and hobbies. You get to choose where you go, when you go, and who you want to go with.During high school you are mainly stuck inside with the same 20–60 people all week, studying topics you don’t have any say in, all for a little score which may or may not get you into the higher education that you want. There is no certainty, no negotiation, and no free time. After school, you can save up for a car, you can move out, and you can make friends with people you have a genuine connection with — instead of just being friends with the people you are stuck in a classroom with for 7 hours a day.You have the freedom to say “I’m going to skip university/college classes today and go see a movie” or you can travel to the city, meet up with friends, or do literally anything you want to do. You can make a bucketlist of everything you want to experience and actually have the freedom to fulfill it.After school, you don’t do things because your teachers, parents, or education say you have to, you do things because you have the freedom to choose your own goals and to achieve them. And I think that’s beautiful. Don’t you?Just wait until after high school, because everything changes. It will get better soon.

ADULTS: Does life get better after high school?

Right now I'm only a sophomore in high school, I start tomorrow and I think, "not going back to high school, still have 3 years left". Right now these years feel like living hell. So after you graduated did your life get much better when you went to college, had a career, family, etc?

What did/do you like better... High School or College?

High school tends to suck for a lot of people (read: not part of the "popular crowd"). It has the advantages of being easier in terms of work, not to mention less stressful. However, most people are also stuck with the same class for years, so if you're an outcast, tough luck.

University, on the other hand, is a LOT more work, and is far more stressing as a result. However, you also change classes often and don't necessarily share classes with the same people. You can also easily drop classes and change your major on whim. However, that extra work also comes to bite you in the behind: the so called "freshman 15" isn't really a joke, as many people find they lack the time to exercise (not to mention the freedom means you'll be more likely to eat junk food).

Is it true high school boys like blondes better than brunettes?

I was blonde in high school (I'm a natural blonde) and then I dyed my hair dark dark brown, and i found that I still got a lot of attention from the guys, just as much as i did when I was a blonde. It all depends if you're good looking in the first place, if you ask a guy who's hotter, a not so hot blonde girl or a hot brunette, he's gonna pick the brunette. So basically guys don't necessarily think blondes are hotter, they just check them out more to SEE if they are hot, for example...if two girls are walking down the street, one on either side of the st, a blonde and a brunette, the guy will probably try to check out the blonde before checking out the brunette, BUT being blonde doesnt mean guys think you're hotter
