How Can I Take Down My Account Of Match

Match down sink?

no it'll be fine

Why did my new Tinder account get 16 matches in the first day and 0 the next (I'm a guy)?

The newer your Tinder account the more your profile will be shown to new people. In addition, the better your ELO score is the more people will see your profile of similar ELO scores.ELO score is a basic score that comes from how often you swipe right vs how often you swipe left. In addition it’s how often people swipe right or left on you. It’s Tinder’s way of trying to figure out how attractive your profile is.So what probably happened was this: you got a high amount of matches on the first day because your profile is new. Because you got 16 matches on the first day (good job!) your ELO score blew up.But now your profile is being shown to people who don’t consider you their type. Which means at this point what I would do is talk to your current matches and try to set up dates with them. Try to get them off of the app.Delete your Tinder profile and then start over. The older your profile is the less it will be shown to people. In addition your ELO score is probably taking a beating right now. While you’re messaging your current matches you shouldn’t swipe for at least a day. Give your profile time to readjust itself based on your ELO. Then your ELO will get brought back down a little bit where you can start swiping again. That’s because your profile will be shown to people that will consider you more their type.In addition, it could also be because you were a little too picky on your own swipes. I ran an experiment a few times (similar results each time) when I still used cell phone pictures where I swiped left on just about everybody except a few people for the first day. Then I would swipe like normal afterwards.I would get 3–4 matches in a single month. The matches I had were about equal in attractiveness to the people I would normally match with. Swiping normally from the start would get me about 10 a day for a few days and, on average, about 40 ish a month. And that was back when I still used cell phone pictures and actually tracked this stuff.

Can a match tell if I deleted my Tinder account?

Can a match tell if I deleted my Tinder account?Deleting/Uninstalling the App from your device - no (because your account will still be active)Deactivating Discovery within the app - no (because you will still be matched with a match, but will not obtain any new matches)Disabling/Deleting your account - not directly (see paragraph below)Deleting your Facebook Account - no (once an account is created, it doesn’t continuously check your FB account. So deleting FB makes no difference)If you delete your Tinder account, you will be removed from Discovery and unmatched from any current matches. Additionally you will not receive any new matches. From the view of your matches, they’ll only see that you’ve unmatched. Most will (incorrectly?) conclude that you’ve unmatched, while some will believe that you’ve deleted your account. Either way, the end result is that the two of you will no longer be matches.

What is WMV*Match.com doing on my debit card?

I was doing my checkbook right now, and I noticed a site called 'WMV*Match.com' on my statement. I've never registered at Match.com (I just turned 18 in early May and I still have no interest in even going to that site. Ew) and for some reason, it's telling me I gave it $30. Then two dates later, it states that it put the money BACK into my account. ....What? What is this site?! I quickly looked it up online and saw that it was a hack site that steals accounts, even in secure shopping areas.

I plan on going to my bank on Monday to report this and see what I can do, but I also want to know more about the site. I heard that people get continuous bank statements from them, demanding money even though they've never even contacted them.

How common is it for a guy to get no matches on Tinder?

I'd say it's not uncommon. There's a fairly simple explanation for this. You say people have called you ‘cute’ and believe yourself to be a somewhat attractive guy. I'm sure this is the case (if this sounds like sarcasm, it isn’t)The problem is that a vaguely attractive girl, not even a moderately attractive one, but a vaguely attractive one, will get tons of right swipes. TONS. It's just the way the male psyche works. You'be seen this for yourself in real life. In bars and in clubs. Vaguely attractive girls get hit on a lot by virtue of being female; it's the way dating in out society is set up.Now, what this does is it allows these vaguely attractive girls to be really, really selective when it comes to swiping right. As long as it's not a male model on the other guy who's expecting to match with a female model, this vaguely attractive girl knows that 90% of the time, whoever she swipes right on will also swipe right on her (try having a friend swipe right on every guy for once, like guys do usually. You'll see my point.) It's nigh guaranteed, and she knows it. So she’ll be insanely selective. She comes across your profile. ‘He's good looking, but I'm looking for a 9/10’. She swipes left. Now imagine what happens with a really attractive girl in the same scenario. There is no fault within you. It's the way societal dating is set up. There is a cut off point for male attractiveness. Below this point, few to no matches. The men after this threshold get tons of matches. These are the exceptionally good looking guys. This is why you see your good looking friend have so many matches. This isn't a New York thing. Location does not matter.I'm in the same boat as you. Don't beat yourself up about it bro. God (or the world, if you're an atheist) is challenging you to be romantically successful while putting you in Hard mode. Forget tinder; it's not meant for above average looking guys. It's meant for really really attractive ones. Improve yourself socially. Use your humour, your wit, your spontaneity. And meet these women in real life.It takes time but you'll get there.

If someone has my account and routing number, how can they take money from my account?

I can think of three ways, and and there might be more but I should say I think all of them are very unlikely, All are serious fraud.Someone could use your account number on a ‘counter check’ and withdraw cash as you at a branch. In this case the teller would have to not properly verify identity.Someone would set up an ACH draft to transfer funds out of your account through ACH to a someone claiming you had authorized them to take those funds. The bank is supposed to be checking these sorts of things out to prevent this from happening, and there will be a very easy to follow trail to who got the money.Someone would counterfeit checks with your account number and RT printed at the bottom and then pay with the checks or cash them. Checks are hard enough for check printers to get right. The exact positioning of the numbers is important, the paper, watermarks, micro printing, and the ink is magnetic. These make this scenario unlikely, however, the person presenting the check could print whatever name on the check they wanted. Then because the name doesn't have to match the account to go through, they would use any valid-appearing ID matching the name printed on the checks. As mentioned, there may be more ways for this to happen, these are serious crimes, and I think they are all unlikely to be successful for a variety of reasons. The perpetrators are very likely to be caught. You would be well advised not to try any of them.

If I disable my OkCupid account, will the people I have been messaging still see the messages we exchanged?

If you profile is disabled (not deleted), your sent and received messages will remain until you return, but you will NOT receive any new messages.  If someone does attempt to send you a message or reply to a message, they'll receive a notification saying you're no longer active and the (other) user ultimately will not be able to send you any messages until you become active again.  But they will be able to see past messages, but will not be able to reply to them until you make your account active again.  Additionally, your profile picture will be reverted back to the default grayed out silhouette, and your profile will not be accessible for other users to view.  If a user does try to get to your profile, they'll see the following page:If you delete your account, you will not be able to re-enable your account and retrieve any messages, and your username will also be locked so it cannot be re-used, though you'll be able to register with the same email, you just won't be able to use the same username a second time.  Anyone you've messaged or had a conversation with will continue to have the message(s) until THEY decide to delete it from their inbox, though ultimately they won't be able to reply (ever).  Also your profile will not be accessible anymore, and your profile picture will be a grayed out silhouette.  In other words disabling an account is temporary and you'll be able to gain access again.  Deleting an account is more permanent and future access of the account is not possible.

Does the address on your bank checks have to match the address on your driver's license?

No, not at all. I've used many different addresses on my bank checks over the years as opposed to the one on my driver's license and never had any problems with it. It gets annoying, though, when you move and you're stuck with a box (or a couple of them, in my case) full of checks with your old address. Just put down the address on your checks that suits you the best. I've had all sorts of addresses on those checks- from p.o. boxes, fpo addresses and international addresses to regular addresses. Let me tell you, I've ended up throwing a lot of those old check books away! What a waste!
