How Do I Delete All My Sent Emails At Once. I Have Emails From 2012

Can I mass delete my mail?

I had to delete 14,000+ messages page by page. Just go to options in Yahoo and make it show 200 messages per page.

Then it'll only take checking the top "check box" in the egroup folder to delete 200 messages per page. That's 4 times for you. Not that huge a deal. For me it was like over 60 times.

I haven't found a way in Yahoo email to delete all e-group messages at once. But this is probably the best way to do it.

How can delete, in bulk, all emails before 2014 from my Gmail "ALL MAIL" account?

Use the search option to create a filter in the “Has the words” box and write “before:2014/01/01” (or the date required). Colon, slashes and date order are essential - do not use apostrophesClick on the blue “create a filter with this search” link in the bottom right corner of this windowThis will take you to the next page where you should check the “Delete” box and the box which says: “also apply filter to matching conversations”Click on the blue “Create Filter” button and the process should start but may take some time and I could not see any indicators that anything was happening. You can edit and delete the filters by clicking on the gearwheel in the top right hand corner below your photo and proceed to “Settings” and “Filters and Blocked Addresses”. At one stage I had created about 6 different filters with different dates and configurations and had to recur to this to remove all the rubbish!A bit of background: I am a clumsy baby boomer and a bit of a dinosaur as far as technology is concerned and was not getting much help on why the Outlook on my brand new HP Pavillion was running so slow. Having pruned down my Gmail In and Out boxes down to around 3,000 mails, deleting 50 mails at a a time, I couldn’t understand why I was still at 93 % of capacity and running so slow on synchronizations. Then I noticed the “all mail” button where I discovered over 23,000 mails dating back to 2012, and would have spent all night and more at 50 a time when I eventually discovered this tip on Google. It took a lot of trial and error and I was about to give up when I suddenly realized I was down to 13,000 and have finally got down to 8,000 which I shall now beginning filtering by name and category. It is very easy but all to easy to make a tiny mistake or get to anxious… just give it timeI am a hoarder and must agree with our colleagues who say it is better to filter every day or week according to specific critieria, but I ended up throwing caution to the wind and deleting everything pre-2015. If I lose some valuable data I may require in a few months or years , so be it — somewhere and sometime ago I backed up all my files but I guess that was 2 computers ago!!!

I have 10,102 items in my Yahoo Mail inbox. How can I delete them all at once?

go to yahoo mailType “e” in the search box.Select the “Inbox” dropdown option to the left of the search box.Click the empty checkbox to select all .click deleteclick to confirm when it asks if you want to delete allFor some reason you have to repeat the above 2 or 3 times and then repeat replacing “e” with “a” in step 2, but that gets most of the email, but I just used this to quickly delete 14,000 + emails in the current yahoo mail.

What is the best method to delete all email on Yahoo?

In the inbox there is a small square above the list of E-mail. In the embedded image it is above the word “Today”Check that box. It selects everything. Select Delete. Empty the Trash. You will also need to do this in you sent folder as well. This does not reset the account. It just clears everything out.

How can you recover deleted emails from more than four years ago on Gmail?

You can recover these emails by requesting an archive, but that is only if you were smart enough to file away that particular email four years ago.Messages are set to expire at 1–2 years maximum (I have mine personally set to 30 days and delete unless I file it away). Old messages are like dirty laundry. No one wants to deal with them, they aren’t very appealing, and it is one in 5,000 that you will ever consider digging out of your email hamper.By regularly deleting, archiving, and filing emails, you not only become more efficient but you also become much more organized which leads to less stress. Who would’ve thought something so simple could bring positive gain to peoples daily life?!

Many emails are deleted by Gmail why is gmail deleting my emails with out my permission?

Gmail does not delete any messages from your account (other than Trash and Spam after about 30-days).  If messages are missing it probably for one of the following reasons:1.  Settings-Filters2.  Settings->Forwarding3.  Settings->POP/IMAP (access from a client, phone, utility, notifier, etc)4.  Settings->Accounts->Change Account Settings->Other Google account settings->Authorizing applications & sites (access from a web-site, utility, etc)5.  Manually (even accidentally or not understanding the difference between labels/folders)6.  Compromised account (a sub-set of #5)7.  The e-mail retention policy (Google Apps only): Email retention - Google Apps Help

Is there a way to search for recently archived emails in Gmail?

The answer is no.All of the other answers seem to be explaining how search works on gmail. But not how to actually find the last email you archived. For instance, say you quit your job and on the last day forwarded all of the email from your work account to your personal (most of it being irrelevant, but you fully intend on combing through to find relevant industry newsletters, etc). So of course, you have 600 emails all with the same send date (since they were forwarded). On email 112 you archive it, but ten minutes later realize it was relevant. You are SOL. You can use search, but good luck remembering the sender and I hope the subject was semi-unique.
