That's supposed to happen... It's Pixelmon. Normal mobs are disabled by default. To enable them, go to your config settings and set "Allow Vanilla Mobs" to "true" (or "1" if there's a "0" after it instead of the word "false")

I'll agree with Derek Li, but you might also want to check out OpenEmu for the mac (It uses VisualBoyAdvance in the backend). It enables you play any of the consoles that have had Pokemon games on them other than the 3DS and the Wii/WiiU consoles. I would consider it to be the iTunes of emulation in terms of automatic organization of your content (drag and drop into the app and it will copy and auto - organize the content) and ease of use.
Is it possible to add mods to PS4 Minecraft?
Well if you are talking about making mods yes it is possible but hard.If your talking about downloading and playing mods like in Pocket Edition or PC, then no because it hasn't been officially made so that so you have the option to download and play them on your ps4.There are 2 reasons for this.Sony is very strict on mods in their gamesThere are actually two versions of Minecraft, Java and bedrockThe bedrock versions are mcpe, Windows and Xbox. And the Java versions are Ps4,ps3,Xbox 360(I think) and ps vita.Since these are different versions they run on different engines which keep being updated all the time and make it harder for modders to work on mods for bedrock.In summary, Java(ps4,ps3,Xbox 360,ps vita) cannot have mods because the engine needs to be the same as bedrock(which won't happen unless ps4 decides to do Crossplay).The feature has not implemented yet for java

Yes, and no.I love minecraft. It is great. I normally play Vanilla minecraft on my PS, and then I play a different version with currency on a the IDMC server.However, I don't play with mods for many reasons.I can't ever tell the difference between legit mods. And virus sites. I end up with 500+ viruses after o make each mod packThere are no good updated mods. I haven't seen any mods for 1.12 or even 1.11. I don't wanna go to 1.8 to have good mods.Most servers don't allow modded gaming. Minecraft is fun when you aren't alone fighting crazy demon things that the mods provideI have a hard time getting more than 1 to work at a time. I don't know how to set it up after downloading.How do you even defeat that??
