How Do I Remove A Seat Ibiza Standard Speaker

How do I fix crackling car speaker?

Speakers crackle because you have a tube amp with faulty tubes, or because you have blown the coils of the speakers and they are scratching against the walls. The space for the coil to work is very narrow. Other possibility could be the diaphragm suspension system of your speaker that is damaged and the cone reaches its limit uncontrollably. If the coil is burned out it will start scratching. There is also the clipping. If your amplifier is not very powerful and reaches clipping it will send peaks of continuous load to your speakers. When this happens usually the tweeters may crackle when they reach their physical limit for excursion with continuous current. And, of course, if your amplifier is too powerful for the loudspeaker, the speaker may also crackle because you are trying to drive it beyond its limit.Keep in mind. Loudspeakers have no power. They can withstand a certain amount of power before they burn out. So, if you have a 30W RMS loudspeaker, this means that anything above the 30W RMS will probably burn it. I say probably, because a 30W RMS loudspeaker, may have something like a 50W peak power. It will stand, for a fraction of a second, peaks up to 50W, but you can not drive it at a continuous 50W power. How do you fix the problem with your speaker? First you have to find out exactly where this “cracking” is coming for. If it is an amplification issue you may need to address the amp`s issue. If it is a loudspeaker driver issue you either replace the loudspeaker or have the loudspeaker reconed or/and have its coil and former replaced.

Can i add 2 extra speakers to my car ?

What phatboy fails to say is wire them series - http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j230/sparky3489/SERIES.jpg

The output power will drop to the speakers, but it's the only safe way without an amp.

If you wire them parallel the impedance will drop causing the amp in the deck to work harder causing more heat than normal. The deck won't tolerate this for very long.

Should I purchase Maruti Baleno or Hyundai i20?

The Elite i20 is a world apart. Inch on inch difference in the cars and philosophy.I am an ex Swift owner and just bought an elite i20. The difference is huge. Open the engine bay, look at the layout, simple, neat and practical. Very thoughtfully laid out. The engine oil position, the fuse box location and map, spare fuses provided with a fuse holder (such small things as that). Now just look down below the engine, there’s a cover below the engine and the road..all cars have it, maruti too HAD IT at one time, now they have removed it, they say its for your safety, in case of an accident, the engine will fall down and you wont get hurt :) :) and what about all kinds of junk flying into the engine from below? it all looks very flimsy on the maruti, the thin body shell has become even thinner on the maruti. Now, check the i20, engine is covered from below, infact i20 is 200kgs heavier than all the maruti models up to desire. That kind of affects the average, but then dont you want a more planted car???Open the door of the Baleno…now open the door of the i20, feel and see the difference, you can feel the notched feeling of the door opening in i20, it wont shut down on you without you closing it. Try the hatch..The one very important thing for a person who drives, the Dead (false) pedal, where you can rest your clutch foot when its not placed on the clutch…its there on the i20..not maruti.Looks…oh i20 is a snazzy head turner any day. It looks just a low sitting creta from the rear..very similar tail lights and a lovely rake in the front. The baleno has dated looking lights, baleno’s best pose is only from the side. The engine, yes Baleno is a little more peppy, but thats also in part due to the 200 kg weight diff, but it very slight a difference to bother…its not that the i20 is a slouch at all..just take it for a drive and see.Maruti has to stop taking buyers for a ride..its high time now.

How do you use a car cigarette lighter as a charger?

Most modern vehicles have the cigarette lighter socket only live when the ignition is on. It is very simple to change this to a constant fused feed, but make sure that no children could put a cigarette lighter in the socket and start a fire or burn themselves, as this was the primary reason that cigarette lighters in cars were changed to the accessory circuit quite a few years ago. A lot of cars have a ‘power’ socket which is compatible with the same plugs and these are often live all the time as they are great for inspection lamps, vacuum cleaners etc. . To use this method to charge the car battery is simply a matter of wiring your battery charger of whatever type to a cigarette lighter plug, but if your charging source is a high capacity (high current) source such as another car battery or high capacity charger it is essential that you have a fuse in the circuit of no more than 10 amps.Bear in mind that the tip of the plug on your charging lead is now at 12v+ and you would short your charging circuit if you grounded it anywhere, including to the outer part of the socket - so only activate the charging side AFTER the plug is connected. You can’t use this method for an immediate ‘jump start’, but 20 minutes of charge from a good source should enable enough charge to start a car if the battery was low. If you simply want a method of connecting a trickle charger, either mains or solar, there are OBD2 charging connectors available which go into the diagnostic port and in which case you don’t need to modify any wiring.
