How Do I Stop My Little Brother From Sleep Walking

Little brother sleeping a lot?

hey everyone, my 10 year old brother just lost his best friend. I also asked a question about it earlier, he's been sleeping so much since her death :( we will be watching a movie, he will fall asleep in like the first 10 minutes on my shoulder when my arm is wrapped around him. or in the car he will be asleep on my shoulder, or in the car, he'll be asleep, we have to carry him around when he is asleep, and i know Hes hurting right now. How can I help him? I comfort him so much. But how else can I help him it hurts me seeing him like this

Why is my little brother sleepwalking so often?

My brother has never sleepwalked, or sleeptalked, from what I'm aware of. But lately he's been taking and walking while asleep. But it's more than talking, he's having a full on conversation. I can ask him questions and he'll respond but he will answer with strange replies. I woke up to him screaming "I DONT WANT TO GO" so I asked him what he was talking about, and he said that his friend wanted him to see the new Star Wars movie, and that he didn't want to see it. This is unlike him, because he has been so excited about the new movie. And just last night, he was getting up, saying that he needed to do his homework. So he gets out a paper and scribbles on it, then he says "look! I figured out that -8 plus 5 equals 1 square! Keep in mind he's far too young to know that there are negative numbers, he's 7.

How do i stop my little brother from sleep walking?

My little brother is 13 years old, and he sleep talks and walks. It has gotten to the point were he unlocks the front door to my familys house and he walks around. Yesterday he walked outside around 2 am, and i woke up because of the barking dogs. I went to the kitchen and saw the front door open again. I quickly ran outside, and saw him about to turn around the block. At the end i grabbed him and brought him home. What can we do to make him stop? He likes to play a lot of COD. My dad blames those games. Can these types of games affect him?

Why is sleepwalking dangerous?

Sleepwalking can be extremely dangerous as the sleepwalker can do things that could result in their death or the deaths of others.I have posted this story here before and will post it here. Mom told me this story about a girl who used to sleepwalk and the mother of the family would hear her daughter go out and made sure to follow her to make sure that she was safe. The girl’s family would find her laying on top of the well cover in the morning. The family always had to make sure that well cover was on because of that. The girl’s sleepwalking out to the well did not occur in the winter as the cold air would wake her up. One night, the girl went out and the mother followed her as usual. The girl was not far from the well and was near a horse trough full of water when the lamp she was carrying came apart.Apparently, the top was not screwed on properly after the base had been filled with kerosene. The lamp base hit the ground and the burning kerosene splashed up onto the girl’s nightgown. The mother immediately pushed the girl into the horse trough which put out the fire. When the girl was helped out of the horse trough by the mother, her nightgown fell off her in pieces. After that, the girl’s sleepwalking came to an end. I said to Mom, that it might have been the shock of her landing in the cold water of the horse trough and finding out just how close she came to burning to death may have been what put a stop to the sleepwalking.

Have you ever been caught sleepwalking?

More than a few times. I have, over the course of my life displayed numerous types of sleep-Xing behavior. The earliest was kindergartner. I went to sleep at about 21:00. at about 00:30 my mother told me i got up, went into the bathroom, brushed my teeth, washed my hair, then got dress and made a lunch. I then went out the front door and stood on the porch for almost 30 minutes mumbling, turning, raising my hand etc, then i went back into the house took off my parka hung in in the front closet, went and brushed my teeth, striped down and crawled back into bed. All of this happened on a Saturday night. Mom also told me that i would be sound asleep and would shout something really loudly. But, she could hardly ever understand what it was i was shouting about, only that i was excited in a “oh, this is going to be awesome” kind of way. She did tell me that i stopped shouting at about 12. from then forward i talked in my sleep all the time till to this day. I may have done it last night. who knows, and better yet, who cares;-)>While in the Navy i spent most of my 4 years on shore duty, either going through basic, then 2 different schools, after school i was sent to rota Spain, Weapons Dept. I walked in my sleep at least 6 times over the next 2 years. I was then sent to a ship, and while on the ship, one of the guys in my division was passing through our birthing compartment and saw me get up, get dressed and then walk to the “light-trap” on the port side of the )1 level. It only went to a lookout platform. Because all the main hatches (doors) had “dogs’ on them (dogs are handles that allow a water tight seal and there are usually 6 or 8 of them per hatch, he would dog the lever as soon as i undogged it. As a result i was unable to get out the door. After that they guys kept an eye on me. They told me that i had done this more than a few times in a 10 month period.Later, i had sex while sleeping (this mostly was in my 20s, but did carry into my early 30s). Like many times. I can’t even tell, because my gal, at that time, only told me that i did do it and when a friend of hers stayed with us for a few weeks she told her to NEVER sleep without something on her bottom half.I still do things like walking, but not nearly as often i as used too. I was told by 2 different doctors the most likely reason was i was not getting enough sleep each nigh. I used to sleep on average 5–6 hours per night and about once a week i’d sack-out for a good 7 hours.

My brother keeps walking in on me help?!?!?

I always masturbate in my room with mu door locked. But now my brother who is 12 found a away to unlock the door and walk in for fun. Like tonight when I was on my phone and the door was lock he just unlocked the door and walked in. What should I do im scared that he will find me masturbating. I dont like to do it it the bathroom or in the shower. I love being relaxed in my room but now im concerned about being walked in on. Im 15 btw any help is appreciated.

My brother hit me with a sock in his sleep last night. Why?

My God... does this really qualify as a mental health question? I was more entertained by the guy who just wanted "that's interesting" marks. He was either:

A. Sleepwalking!

or

B. Thought it was funny and wanted to mess with you.

My sister always talks in her sleep?

First answers completely right. I do it myself, not that often, generally when i'm over tired. I'll say some really strange things. my mum has a video of me when i was 8 saying 'If they come to get me, I know they wont, But IF they do, what should i do? I don't know, should i run? no i shouldn't? I should dance? maybe we should talk, what if they don't talk, what if they CAN'T talk?'

Still no idea what i was talking about lol.
