Is there a way to place text over a jpeg image in Photoshop?
Of course you can place anywhere in the jpeg image. Not only jpeg almost any picture format you can edit with photoshop. Just open the image with photohosp. Then select the text tool from tool palette showing with “T” sign(Mostly tool palette located on left side of the photoshop interface)Click on your image where you want to place your text and type. You can format the text as well. You can keep either plain text or edit further to add some effect like drop shadow, stroke, Glow and emboss etc.. but you have to learn little bit more about photoshop to do these things. Then pres shift + Ctrl + E keys together and Ctrl + S you are done. Now you can have your image with the text.
