What did you think of the structure and style of the writing in the novel "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by Zora Neale Hurston?
To be completely honest, I didn’t finish the book. It was assigned summer reading for my AP lit class, and I just couldn’t get myself to read it all the way through.But from what I did read (about 3/4) I quite liked. I enjoy books in vernacular, because I can hear it better and envision the characters in my head. I liked how it was a tale within a book, told by the protagonist. I should go back and finish it.
