How Far Is Manhattan To Metlife Stadium

How do I get from New York penn station to the MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford NJ)?

Trains to MetLife Stadium operate ONLY when there is an event going on at the Stadium (football game, concert etc). Not all events at the Stadium will have train service. Some events have bus service at Secaucus Junction. Some events have no service at all.

From NY Penn you would take a NJ Transit train (NE Corridor, NJ Coast or MId Direct) to Secaucus Junction, then go upstairs and then down to tracks G & H for shuttle trains to the Stadium.

When you buy the ticket you would buy it for Meadowland station.

Check this link on the NJ Transit site to see if shuttle service is being provided for the particular event at the stadium.

From Long Island, what is the best way to get to MetLife Stadium? Financially and time wise, is it better to take the train or to drive? If by train, how would I get there from Penn Station?

This is a half loaded question. I would prefer the train, be it subway or railroad. It depends where in Long Island you are. If you are within reach of the #7 subway, by all means take it! If you are within reach of the Long Island Rail Road Port Washington line, take that! Both will take you right to MetLife. stadium You will have to make sure the railroad will make a stop for that run.If you are not within reach of the Port Washington line, take the Long Island Railroad to Woodside station and take the RR that goes toward Port Washington, and get off at MetStadium. Again, make sure that train will stop at MetLife stadium. It is not a frequent stop on the LIRR runs.Financially, you have to figure the cost of driving plus parking at the stadium. The fare for the Long Island RailRoad can be costly depending where you are. The further you are from Queens, the more it will cost you. I only know from riding on the Port Washington line as a commuter, the highest fare is about $12 one way at peak hours.Timewise, I’d say the rail is better, unless it breaks down, which does happen. Driving will be at the mercy of traffic conditions, plus the line to get into the stadium. But here’s a hint: park under Northern Boulevard in Flushing. It might be a mile walk to the stadium. It’s free but park at your own risk. It’s packed! I try to get a parking spot in Flushing to eat and pass this area sometimes .From Penn Station, take the Port Washington line to MetLife stadium. During baseball season, some trains are added solely for the game. Alternatively and this is way cheaper ($2.75), take either A, 1, 2, or 3 uptown to 42nd street and take the #7 train to Willets Point station, MetStadium. Should be fun. Let’s go Mets!Check the LIRR site for fares: New Fares - Effective March 19, 2017

What are the best seats found in MetLife Stadium?

Are you interested in a football game or a concert? For concerts, I wouldn’t really know, as they change the seating arrangements for those often. For football, most people like to be by the 50 yard line, but that also depends on what you like. I personally like the first row of the 200 sections.

What stadium did the jets use before metlife stadium ?

The Jets (and the Giants) played their home games at Giants Stadium (also called Meadowlands Stadium) before moving to Metlife Stadium.

Where to live near Manhattan?

I have moved into NY recently with office at Times Square. Looking at an accomodation where me and my wife can live peacefully. Need to know safe and decent areas in and around Manhattan - preferred places would be areas that are safe, have decent shopping places, nice restaurants and good schools.

Safety is the prime criteria and budget would be between $1100-$1500 for 1BR.

Thanks

Where to store luggage near Metlife Stadium?

My wife and I are travelling to NYC at the end of the month and catching a Jets game on our last day there. We fly out of Newark at 7:20 pm on Sunday but need somewhere to check our bags after checking out of our Manhattan hotel without going all the way back to Manhattan to pick them up before we fly out. Any suggestions on where we could store our luggage (2 suitcases) before the football game (11:00 am) to pick up for check in after the game? Thank you for any suggestions!

What is the best way to go to Metlife Stadium from New York City using public transport?

I just did a Google on my phone: https://www.google.com/search?q=... , and copy pasted here available links from the search. It’s by train. I have used that mode and I believe it's reliable, without much traffic, and I like and enjoy seeing people taking public transportation.Or you can just take Uber, Lyft, the cab from wherever your starting point is in New York City, which has 5 boroughs. This can be the least inconvenient but a bit costly, unless if you're doing this for business.

What is the best way to get to Manhattan from the 11th street in Long Island?

There is no such address as 11th St. in Long Island. You need to give us more information. Long island consists of many areas and towns all the way out to Montauk. You need to look at a map of Long Island and make yourself familiar with it. It is long as the name suggests and narrow and juts out at the very end into two areas called the North Fork and the South Fork. I believe Montauk is the farthest out you can go on Long Island.
