If you are having trouble, email kik at support@kik.com and tell them your username and that you would like your kik deactivated and they will deactivate it completely from there.

Ask a friend with Kik to send you a message (to the Kik account you're logged out of). You will receive an email from us letting you know that you have unread messages. There will be a link to deactivate your account at the bottom of that email. It may take a few days to receive this email. If you log in to your account before receiving the deactivation link, the email will be cancelled and your account will remain active. I gotta warn you and this is through my experience with this garbage. I followed all of these directions step by step like three months ago and they didn't send me not one notification for when one of my friends messaged me that was left unread. I waited for a month for them to send me a link for deactivating that bullshit and nothing. I've tried this way three times and nothing. My next step was emailing them to this address at support@kik.com telling and telling them to deactivate my account and nothing. It's been basically two months since I've emailed them like 5 times telling them to delete my kik account and STILL nothing yet. My guess is that they're not gonna get back to me and if you do this, more than likely, they probably won't get back to you either. So basically your mom's gonna find out that you made one. Your biggest mistake was making one in the first place. Next time before you create any social account, research all the pros and cons of these social network accounts BEFORE you make one.
