How Many Components Are There To Make Up A Whole

What part of iPhone components heats up that makes the whole device hot?

When you are using the phone, main heat source is the CPU/GPU core. The problem is aggravated by demanding applications e.g. games, VoIP calls etc. This is the reason that desktops/laptops have a fan next to the CPU i.e. to keep it cool. Mobile devices have low power processors so they can live without a fan. The battery also gets hot during use, as it discharges. When you are charging a device, the main culprit is the battery. As the current flows through the battery, the internal resistance generates heat.Another thing to try would be to feel the part of the phone that’s hottest during use & during charging (remove accessory covers/cases). See if it corroborates with the location of the battery / CPU. You should be able to find a teardown for your phone online. The battery is usually a lot larger than the CPU.Also see this heat dissipation plate in an iPhone : iPhone 5 Teardown

Is it a good idea to buy used, computer components to build a whole computer and sell it for profit?

Hello John,Your question about buying used parts and making a whole computer to sell for profit is an excellent question. I will try to answer it for you as best I can.Since I do that myself, buy or get for free used computer parts, and repair computers to resell, I have a little knowledge on the subject.Be honest about what's been replaced or used in the computer. This helps from having it brought up and complained about later.Don't try to get like new prices on the rebuilt computers. You can sell more at less price and actually make money that way.Just because a computer was in a dumpster and 3 inches of water doesn't mean its no good. 9 times out of 10 you can salvage good parts from it or even get it running again.Do not try to resell windows operating system unless you have a Microsoft resale license. Unless you can afford a huge fine and possible jail time. To work around this, you can easily format the hard drive and install Linux, Red Hat, or any free, open-source OS.If selling to friends or family its cash up front, no loans or installments. Thats if you want to get paid because we all know how many years it takes to get paid on credit from friends. So to answer your question, yes you can buy used parts to make computers for resale. But you can also get parts for free if you look around or even put the word out that you will take all used and junk computers. Word of mouth travels fast. Free parts make for better profit also. One thing I should mention, don't call it refurbished unless you used all new parts. That would be misrepresentation and whatever site you are selling on your rep score would drop. That would lower your sales. You want to keep your rep scores as high as possible if you want to sell on any site.Well, I hope that helps and I wish you the best of luck and sales.Eddie

Which of the following components make up the largest portion of plasma?

C. water
Blood plasma is the yellow liquid component of blood, in which the blood cells in whole blood would normally be suspended. It makes up about 55% of the total blood volume. It is mostly water (90% by volume) and contains dissolved proteins, glucose, clotting factors, mineral ions, hormones and carbon dioxide (plasma being the main medium for excretory product transportation). Blood plasma is prepared by spinning a tube of fresh blood in a centrifuge until the blood cells fall to the bottom of the tube. The blood plasma is then poured or drawn off.[1] Blood plasma has a density of approximately 1025 kg/m3, or 1.025 kg/l.[2]

Blood serum is blood plasma without fibrinogen or the other clotting factors (i.e., whole blood minus both the cells and the clotting factors).[1]

Plasmapheresis is a medical therapy that involves blood plasma extraction, treatment, and reintegration.

What are the five components of health related fitness?

Hi kelly
The 5 components of physical fitness are often used in our school systems, health clubs and fitness centers to gauge how good a shape we are truly in. The 5 components that make up total fitness are:
# Cardiovascular Endurance

# Muscular Strength

# Muscular endurance

# Flexibility

# Body Composition

Total fitness can be defined by how well the body performs in each one of the components of physical fitness as a whole. It is not enough to be able to bench press your body weight. You also need to determine how well you can handle running a mile etc.
A closer look at the individual components:

Cardiovascular endurance is the ability of the heart and lungs to work together to provide the needed oxygen and fuel to the body during sustained workloads. Examples would be jogging, cycling and swimming. The Cooper Run is used most often to test cardiovascular endurance.

Muscular strength is the amount of force a muscle can produce. Examples would be the bench press, leg press or bicep curl. The push up test is most often used to test muscular strength.

Muscular endurance is the ability of the muscles to perform continuous without fatiguing. Examples would be cycling, step machines and elliptical machines. The sit up test is most often used to test muscular endurance.

Flexibility is the ability of each joint to move through the available range of motion for a specific joint. Examples would be stretching individual muscles or the ability to perform certain functional movements such as the lunge. The sit and reach test is most often used to test flexibility.

Body composition is the amount of fat mass compared to lean muscle mass, bone and organs. This can be measured using underwater weighing, Skinfold readings, and bioelectrical impedance. Underwater weighing is considered the “gold standard” for body fat measurement, however because of the size and expense of the equipment needed very few places are set up to do this kind of measurement.

Why the need for physical fitness testing?

As stated earlier the 5 components of physical fitness represent how fit and healthy the body is as a whole. When you have the battery of tests performed you will receive information on the specific areas you made need to work in. A very specific goal oriented fitness program can be developed from the test battery.

What 3 components make up a film camera? Define each part?

This question is from my Creative Photography class. We have an 8 page lesson on this and I have reread the WHOLE thing maybe 4 times trying to find the answer. I've even used Google trying to find anything even similar to an answer :( Please help! I will be very thankful. I have asked the teacher for help as well (for you people that will say I need to do this on my own) and he told me it was a research assignment. Even if you don't give me a full answer, even a website where I can find this info will do!! Please and Thank you!

What's the difference between filing multiple patents (one for each of the components of a new machine) and filing a single patent for the whole machine?

Advantages:1. The likelihood of allowance is increased as you are adding more interconnected elements to the claims (more difficult to find a reference or a bunch of references that combine to read on your patent application).2. Suppose A and B are different concepts (or, B is a variation of A) realized through components that make up a whole system; You may file B as a continuation or a continuation-in-part of A. Say you file B three years after A. Then, the patent application related to B has to expire at the same time as A if you want to claim the priority date of A. This is not an issue if you file (A+B). 3. You have an instant patent application that protects a product. You may have more bragging rights with respect to investors who are not that familiar with the patent process and why may consider the consolidated patent application complete.Disadvantages:1. Narrower protection. If A and B are distinct concepts, they are better off as separate applications. Even if the consolidated patent application seeps through the patent office strainer without a restriction (see below), you are limiting your inventions.2. You may get a restriction from the patent office that requires prosecuting claims associated with only one concept (A or B). This would again mean expenses associated with filing a divisional application (the other A or B), if you want to.3. An approach to patent drafting with regard to coming up with a consolidated application is going to be narrower in scope compared to an approach that tackles A and B separately.

What does constituent parts mean ?

"Constituent parts" means the parts that make up the whole of something. If you're talking about a jigsaw puzzle, the individual pieces are the constituent parts of the puzzle.
