How Much Does It Cost To Grease A Semi Truck

How much does it cost to grease a semi truck?

How much does it cost to fix a flat or leaking tire?

Probably run you about $50–$60 or so.Why?Because shops no longer use “plugs”. There was a time when a shop would use a ream to slightly enlarge the hole (once whatever was stuck in the tire was removed) and then insert a soft, tar-like, rubber plug coated with adhesive into the hole. A short set up time was needed and then the tire was inflated. And you went on your way. And that might run 20 bucks. You could even do it yourself for the cost of one of the kits you could buy in the parts stores. The problem with the plug method was the fact some of the steel radial cords were broken, damaged or weakened …or all three. This was a set up for tire failure down the road. It must have happened to somebody. And for whatever reason the lawyers got involved and some tire company and/or big chain tire shop had to pay serious coin.So the plug is dead. To fix a leak the tire is removed from the vehicle and unmounted from the rim. The hole is found, the area prepped and a patch is put in place over the hole. There’s a special “clamp” to hold pressure on the patch while it cures for awhile. The tire is then remounted, balanced and put back on your vehicle. And you’re on your way with a significantly lighter wallet then in years gone by. Labor. It’s all about labor.

Rosenbauer fire truck loss of power F550, V8 diesel engine. No misfiring good power balance and smooth idle..?

The truck has no history of coolant sipping. It was first brought in for repair with the same problem and we repaired the tail pipe for clogging and the truck ran at 120 to 140 max speed then, however at that time the P040D dtc was already present though the MIL is off. But at self test it is registering and we disregard that. After two weeks the truck was brought back again with the same problem so we decided to clean the fuel tank, change the filters as well as the primary pump but still to no avail. There are two egr temp sensor A and B , sensor A is working properly as we can monitor the readout on the computer but sensor B is registering at minus 40 degrees. I checked the connector and found out that sensor B wasn't there. The connector is plugged and i think it was done from the manufacturer.I'ved noticed the turbo charger meter on the dash moves only a quarter and doesn't reach at full even at full throttle.Could this be the problem?

Can I convert back to standard or semi synthetic motor oil from fully synthetic motor oil?

I converted my truck over to fully synthetic motor oil and I have heard that once you go to fully synthetic you can't go back to standard motor oil. Is this true or false? Please explain your answer so I can get a better understanding of why or why not. Thanks in advance

How long does it take to replace a fuel filter?

Actually, you DO have to lower the tank to do this job. With many cars, the filter is under the hood against the firewall in front of the driver. Not so with these "cloud" cars. Open the hood and you'll see why it's not there. The cab forward engine placement leaves no room for anything up front. Those cars are a tad hellish to work on for some repairs.

The filter is on top of the tank and the tank has to be lowered for replacement.

Jiffy Lube probably doesn't realize this, the other shop does.

It's not THAT bad to do yourself, but you need tools and a comfort level working on cars. I have the manual for that car I'll sell you for $10 shipped. Contact me if you want it. I used to have a '96.
