What should a 13 year old boy spend money on?
Well I'm 13 years old, and over the past year or so i've been doing a lot of work for neighbors/people and have been able to gather about $800 altogether. Half the fun has been saving up all the money but now I'm wondering whether or not I even Will spend it..After all I know i'd love to have the extra cash in college/highschool.. I wanted to buy a good computer at first but now I'm not sure,.. if I get no good ideas I'm putting it in a college fund, please don't lecture me on how i shouldn't have this much money at this age because i did put well over a hundred hours into it instead of playing video games or something else.. so any ideas? or should i save it?
Should a 13 year old girl and a 17 year old guy be dating even if the 13 year old is mature enough?
As someone who taught middle-school students for 8 years and high school students for 13 years, I don’t believe it is appropriate for 13 or 14 year-olds to be dating. It’s not that I think a 14 year old ought to be dating someone their own age. I don’t think they ought to be dating. Period.The part of the brain that gives us good judgement isn’t fully developed until age 25. So a 13 year old is roughly halfway between diapers and real maturity. Not only that, most teenagers today are considerably less mature than their parents and grandparents were at the same age. They’re less likely to have done chores for money, much less held a job. Because of the universality of cell phone, most have never been out of contact with their parents, meaning that they’ve had less opportunity to practice making good decisions. They’re less likely to know how to drive a car. Fewer of them have earned money with part time jobs. When we think about a 14 year old dating we make the mistake of imagining ourselves at 14. In reality, a modern high school freshman is more like most parent aged adults were at 11 or 12.So isn’t dating part of maturing. Dr. Leonard Sax, author of such books as Boys Adrift and Why Gender Matters, has pointed out that the average adolescent relationship lasts about 11 weeks from first infatuation to bitter break up, and is largely fueled by unhealthy expectations on the part of the boy and the girl. Far from practicing healthy relationship skills, adolescents who get into relationships mostly practice the most unhealthy habits. Kids who begin dating early are habituating themselves to behavior patterns that will lead to more unhealthy and unsuccessful relationships in adult life.Now let’s think about the 17 year old for a minute. This guy is less than a year away from being considered an adult. What kind of 18 year old wants to date a 13 or 14 year-old? A predator. Now maybe he’s a really moral young man. The average 17 year old male has the same sexual drives as an adult man but is still 7 years away from a brain fully capable of good decision making. He might not intend to have sex with a 13 year old girl. But he’s just one horny moment of poor decision making away from being a sex offender.“Please have a seat.”
13 year old guys do shave your leg?
well i am 14 and i shave my legs and arms now i did this before i started sports but still do it after the season ends but ask some one if they do but most these people are right i am called gay a lot at school etc but i am not i know that and the young women know that so it's some thing you have to do or not it's up to you
If you hired a 13 year old babysitter how much money would you pay them.?
To help me with my 4 kids while I'm at home, I would pay a 13yr around $6hr. I wouldn't leave a 13yr home alone with my kids. I pay my babysitter who is 18yrs, 12hr when she comes. Where she's there during the day she only has my two little ones and when she comes at night, she only has my two olders ones. I think if you are alone with the kids, watching them, entertaining them, feeding them etc, you should get about $8hr. If she's there with you, about $5-6hr. $20 dollars for 10hrs isn't fair in my opinion. Best Wishes =]
