How Much Should I Curl For Basic Training

Navy basic training situps? Does someone hold your feet down?

During basic training prt do they have someone holf your feet down when youre doing pushups? So far Im doing ok on the pushup parts, (I can do 60-70 without stopping to rest) but Im really worried about the curl up parts. I just cant seem to do curl ups without someone holding my feet unlike my friends. I thought I was pretty fit but the curl up thing really put me down, is it that my core is weak? My feet fly up when I raise my upper body to do a curl up :/

Black hairstyles in basic training?

You're definitely going to want to get it braided. I was in the USAF and my husband is in the USMC right now. But during boot camp, your looks are going to be the very last thing on your mind. And you don't want it past your neckline, you'll just get more yelling and everything from the DI about that. But I'd definitely get it braided right before you leave.

Black Women Basic Training Hair?

I have a curly afro right now. I don't straighten it with a flat iron because the humidity would make it curl instantly. I can only comb it wet with conditioner. How do I wear it for basic training? It's not long enough to put in a ponytail yet and I know that you get like no time in the shower or to get ready. Are microbraids my only option? I also know it has to fit under your hat. (my dad was in the airforce) Got any basic training hairstyle tips?

In Basic Training will I lose muscle? do they do any weight training?

You'll tone your muscles. As for weight lifting? There is none other than left heavy gear. Grab a M2 .50 Cal and curl it a few times...

Bicep curls for a 14 year old?

At your age I would keep you heavy weight lifting or weight lifting in general fairly low. You probably don't want to start any sort of heavy body building till maybe 16-18. That should be a decent exercise for your age, but everyone is different. Just so you know the more reps the leaner the muscle. If you are going to try and build muscle you want fewer reps, like you want to be able to only do about 6-10 at a time. This is if you are trying to 'bulk' up.

How much should 16 year old bench press after 2months of training?

How many bicep curls should you do a day?

Regardless of your goal which is unclear from the question, you need to incorporate progressive overload into your training to ensure continued progression.I would suggest a reverse linear periodisation approach to this question; whereby you pick a certain weight and work with rep ranges.Say you can curl 14kg dumbbells for 8 reps (each bicep) for 3 sets; and this is challenging.Week 1: Do 3 sets of 8 aka 8 8 8Week 2: 9,8,8Week 3: 9,9,8For example all the way up until you achieve the higher end of your rep range (let's say 12) and when you can curl 3x12 then increase the weight and start back at the lower end of the rep range and repeat again. This is the easiest way to incorporate progressive overload on isolation exercises when it is hard to increase the weight every week. The way you describe it it sounds like you might just be training arms, which is fine, but I wouldn't recommend it; regardless of whether you just want ‘big arms’ or not. In fact growing the triceps will give you a larger arm size.I would recommend you start attending a gym and training in a complete sense.

What is the average curls for a 14 year old?

These are dumbbells right? Cuz theres a significant difference in weights between machine-operated curls and dumbbell curls cuz the latter are harder to manage and bring up smoothly.

Ok, so I'm 15, about 5"11 and 160 lbs...so I'm a lot bigger than you. However, having said that if 15 curls of 15 lbs is your max I'd say that's below average, even taking in account your smaller body. Personally, I can do 15+ reps w/ curls of the 35-40 lb range. Again, not saying you should be able to do that but I'd expect an average 14-yr old to be able to curl in the 20-25 lb range. If you;re skinnier, and smaller than the average 14 yr old (which it sounds like you might be), then yeah, you might be able to do less...but I'd still say that's, at best, meh.

Sorry for the harsh words ;-). You can still put on lots of muscle through hard work and dedication. If you care about beefing up and would like to talk 2 me about it, feel free to PM me. Not saying I'm a bodybuilder or anything, but I'm def strong and pretty muscular.

How much should an average 14 year old curl??

Uh well in my experience, not much is generally expected of 14 year olds when it comes to curling.. So if you can do anything over 25-35lbs I would say you're in good shape...
