Is the PS3 Slim worth it?
I'll just tell you straight up, the PS3 Slim ROCKS! Since I got my Slim back on Aug 27th, I have had the best gaming experience in my life! I use my ps3 slim just like a computer surfing the web (I gave my computer to my sister) so wifi is just as good as my friends phat 80GB . His phat PS3 and that console gets soo hot, it feels like its gonna blow up after 2hrs of gaming. I can play my slim for 6 hrs straight and its only a little warm. As far as gaming, I purchased: InFAMOUS(a must have exclusive) Modern Warfare (best fps ever) Little Big Planet GOTY edition (great with a friend) Resident Evil 5 (fun co-op online) and many great games to come. Bottom line, if you dont have a XBox360, you MUST get a PS3 Slim

I have a Playstation 3 160 gigabyte slim and would like to know what i should sell it for. I have the ps3, 5 games (Black Ops Hardened Edition, Mw2, Need for Speed, Hot Pursuit, Little Big Planet 2 (yeah.... not sure why i bought that one -_-), and cod 4), 2 sony six-axis dualshock3 (standard) remotes, all the cords, including a 10-ft long HDMI cable, and the box with all the instructions and what not. It is practically new.. I have recently bought it. I also have a Turtle Beach PX21, but am keeping that for when I get an xbox. I want to know what i approximately how much i would get for all of this. I want to know what game stop would give me, and how much i would get on ebay. I want to buy an xbox.. Not just because psn is down and has been down for like a month, but because all my friends have an xbox. Dont yell and say xbox is gay and dont get one and whatnot.. And dont say game stop wont give you **** for your stuff.. Just answer my question please. (Note: I have a wii im willing to sell.. Its an old one, its been hacked and has bootmii and homebrew and neogamma and all of the attachments. But would be good as new if formated.. i have about 15 wii games after i sold 30+ of them because I didn't want them. I have 3 white remotes and one black one, 2 wii motion pluses, 2 white nun chucks or whatever their called and 1 black one, and 2 classic controllers. I have this thing called an edge card where game stop gives me + 10% in store credit trade in value.. So I get 10% extra of every thing i trade in. How much could i sell it for to game stop? It also has 40+ games from wii shop on it (yeahhhh.. I spent about 400 on wii cards giving me points -_-), how much could i sell this for on ebay?) How much could I sell all of this for at game stop? how much could i get from ebay?

I have a 111 gb ps3 slim with 2 controllers one is basically new, hdmi cord, games are bioshock infinite bioshock rapture deluxe or whatever, fifa 12 backbreaker football nba 2k13 fallout new vegas, tekken tag tournament 2, street fighter x Tekken and borderlands 2. I'm trying to sell it on ebay and am wondering what a good price yo sell it would be.

If you mean is it worth getting a PS3 now then personally for me no. I say that because of the fact that there are a plethora of games on the PS4 now. If you were thinking about getting the PS3 for the reason of playing the games available on the PS3 and not avail is on the PS4 then I’d say take a look at PS Now, it allows you to stream old games that were for the PS3, PS2 and I think some for the PS1 but I’m not entirely sure. So definitely check if the games you want to play are on there, the service does cost I think around £12 so it’s up to you if you want to pay that. Also it’s good to know that the PS3 was discontinued over 2 years ago and last year for Japan so you won’t see anything new regarding the PS3. Hope this helps.

why sell the PS3? just save up and get the slim. get rid of the PS3 and you will be missing a ton of awesome games. think about it. PlayStation released heavy rain, and god of war 3 this year. littlebigplanet 2 in oct, and GT5 is set to come out in nov, with the possibility of a resistance 3 reveal next month. and this year is considered a down year. next year: infamous 2 killzone 3 most likely uncharted 3 last guardian and those are just the ones we know. but if you must, i think the 160GB trades in for around 120-160.00 in store credit. either that, or tell your friends to stop slumming and get a PS3.

Lol Iam sorry but $99.99 at Gamestop? That person has no idea what their talking about. Let me break it down: the old " fat " PS3s that are no longer in production and are outdated are sold at gamestop ( they sell used electronics, games, etc ) and go for about $120-150, however you my friend have a "SLIM" which are currently the only ones in production and are worth more than the old " fats " . The 320GB consoles are however usually only bundled with something( a extra game, controller, etc ) so they usually retail new for about $300-$350 depending on the bundle. If you intend to sell just the PS3 and controller ( Iam assuming the PS3 is in good condition) then I suggest you start at $180-$200 taking away a controller or anything else decreases this value so I suggest you bundle everything and throw in a few games.
