How To Apply To Register A Trade Mark In Hong Kong

Is Legal Sherpa Legit? How long does a trademark application take to get going?

I filed a trademark application, with an online special for 98$. It included the filing with the US trademark & patent office, the identity protection, & the search to make sure my trademark can be used. I didn't get the expedited /quick processing, because it made it cost WAY more, so does that mean it will take years? lol
I would like to know how long it will take to get throughout the first part of the process.
Did I make a mistake by not paying the extra money for quick processing?
and is Legal Sherpa Legit?
Thanks!

What does Trademark mean?

Trademarks can be names of products or services, logos, slogans, packaging and even sounds and smells. In essence, a trademark can be almost anything that is used to identify a particular product or service. Registering a trademark grants the owner exclusive rights to the mark within the specified industry.

It's necessary to have comprehensive research on the mark done prior to filing to ensure that there is no possibility of infringing upon another party.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

How to trademark a brand name?

I want to trademark a name and want to learn how to also search if the name has already been trademarked and where I can go if I need a lawyer. I need the full on detail, Please and Thank you,

When a Trademark is in "Non-Final Action - Mailed", do you still have protection from other people using it?

Common law trademark rights are acquired when your trademark is used in commerce as a source of goods or services. Note that registration with the USPTO is NOT required to obtain trademark rights. Rather, trademark rights obtained through use. However, once the USPTO issues a registration, you obtain additional rights that only come with a federally registered trademark.

"Non-Final Action - Mailed" means that the USPTO cannot at this time register the trademark. They are requesting further information, evidence, and/or proof in order to move forward with the trademark registration process.
