A student runs 100m, 200m and 400m races at the school athletics day.?

a. 0.8³ = 0.512
b. 0.8*0.2*0.8 = 0.128
c. this is a conditional probability problem
the favourable ways are WWW, WWL, LWW
with Pr = 0.8³ + 2*0.8²*0.2 = 0.768
for the sample space, add WLW with Pr = 0.128
P[win 2nd race | wins at least two races] = 0.768/(0.768+0.128)
= 0.8571

A good 100m, 400m, 200m, and 100m hurdle time for 9th grade?

Your times are not bad. They're actually pretty decent. You probably won't ever become one of those amazing high school athletes that runs 10.9 (100) or 49.9 (400), but if you continue running, you should be fast by senior year.

It also really depends on how tall you were in 8th grade, how tall you will probably become, and if you've started to go through puberty yet. It also depends on how competitive the other high schools are around you. You might be in a really competitive state with fast athletes, or a really slow state with slow runners.
Just keep training and don't worry too much about times, you'll do great in high school.

Average 400m time for a 13 year old boy.?

yeah that's about a little above average average.
risky is 1.40 and above, poor is 1.30 and above, average is 1.23, good is 1.15-1.18, very good is about 1.12, great is 1.08 and lower and athletic is under 1.05.which would probaly let you go to reginals or states.

Would high rep sprint repeats help my 200m and 400m times?

I run a 31:56 200m and 75:10 400m. On Fridays and Sundays, I do 16x200m and 8x400m. Would this make me faster combined with plylometrics and weight training? Can possibly be in the Olympics after 5-10 years of training?

Whats a good time for the 40m ,100m ,200m ,400m sprints?

Im currently 15, turning 16 this year.
My 40m time is: 5.7 seconds
my 100m time is: 11.79 seconds
My 200m time is: something inbetween 20-25 secs
My 400m time is: 45-55 seconds.

I've been playing soccer my whole life.. Always winning these events at school..
Are my times considered okay for a soccer player / athlete? (no im not taking athletics serious, but i am serious on getting faster. )

Im probably quicker this year, these were my scores when i was 14 last year

thanks
