How do I delete this Chrome extension?
You can view Chrome extension folder placed in the following directory in Windows C:\Documents and Settings\*UserName*\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions Simply find anything suspicious eg :- UtuBBeAdRRemOval 2.1 and then delete the whole folder.
Does anyone know how to delete extensions that school administrator has enforced on Chromebook?
We have our own individual Chromebooks that our School gave to us, but the administrator enforced in our extensions that we cannot delete certain extension on our Chromebook. It shows that the delete bar is gone and on the side of enable/disable it shows that we can't click on it and it says "This extension has been enforced by Administrator". Please help. Also please don't get on here just to say stupid stuff like "Wow, I hope your school see's this" Cause I don't want to hear it... If you don't want to see what I have to ask and all you have is negative comments then please get off the thread.
How do you remove a .zip extension?
Hello, Go to "my computer" and navigate to the folder where the file s located. Got the "tools" menu and find folder options and click it. Click on the "view" tab. Now in the box at the bottom uncheck the box that says "hide extensions of know file type" Now you can see the .zip extension, right click the file and go to rename. When the file name goes into rename mode just delete the .zip extension. Warning, you will not be able to open this file again until you change the extension back to .zip.
Permanently delete "Webroot Filter Extension"?
This thing, sooooooooo pisses me off. It appears in the upper right hand corner of your screen, and doesn't let you do sh!t, until you "disable" or "enable" it. I dont want remedies or fixes....I've been all over youtube and webroot and just a f-ing merry-go-round. I WANT TO DELETE IT PERMANENTLY AND NEVER SEE IT AGAIN. Nothing I've tried works, so PLEASE, NO GUESSES!!!!!!!
