How To Find Long Lost Brother

How to find my long lost brother?!?

I agree with the post above me, look on facebook. My husband found his dad on the internet several years ago, and come to find out, he had 2 other sisters and one had a myspace. had we known about her, we could have just looked her up. do you speak with your dad? do you have any idea where your brother might live or have a good guess? if he doesn't have a facebook, try looking him up on other sites to find people. that is how we found his dad, and we weren't even sure about his name. good luck and don't give up!

What are some ways to find a long-lost brother?

Nowadays it is rare that a person hasn't made a footprint in the online world. I'd suggest start very simple, a Google search of their full name (if you know it). With any luck it isn't a generic “John Smith” type of name and your search should return some avenues to follow. If they don't have Facebook they may have other online accounts such as Viber, LinkedIn or Instagram etc.Alternatively see if a family knows their last where abouts and start there. Maybe you can track them from there?Whatever you choose I wish you the best of luck in finding your brother \U0001f60a\U0001f49c

What do I say to my long lost brother?

Hello,

I just received a friends request from my baby brother. He just turned 21 this week and my mother who gave him up for adoption to his fathers parents when he was a baby, mailed him a letter and $300.00. I have no idea what this letter said and my mom wouldn’t tell me. She sent it to the last known address she had for him. This is the first contact she has made in about 15 years. My brothers dads parents (his grandparents) are the ones who adopted him and when my mom signed the adoption papers over to them, they cut all strings attached to my family. They wouldn’t let us see him. My brother obviously received this letter from my mom because she included her phone number in the letter and he contacted her last night and sent us both friends requests on Facebook.

My mother never told me she was planning on contacting him or sending him a letter. My brother and I have different dads, and haven’t seen each other since we were little. I am not in contact with my biological father but I am nervous because I haven’t always had the best relationship with my mom. I was in and out of foster care homes, abused (mentally and physically) and it took years to forgive my mother, but I did it. I am nervous because I think my brother resents me because my mom chose to keep me and not him, but I want him to know that I didn’t have the best life either growing up. What can I do to start a relationship between the two of us without scaring him off? It would be really great if I could have him in my life. Basically, he is like a stranger to me and my family right now and I don’t know how to go about forming a relationship with him. I am scared I am going hurt and just don’t know what type of person he is today. What should I say, when I accept his friends request on Facebook?

Thank you for reading.

Can I find a long lost brother of a wife if all we have is his name and SS number?

If you cannot afford to retain a private investigator, then start looking from the last place that you or your wife knew him to live. Most people aren’t hiding and don’t know how to do effectively meaning that if he has remained in contact with the last people he lived with or worked with, then they should be able to direct you to him.Failing that, you could start looking online for him. Concentrate on people with his name or variations and then review any social media profiles that seem to meet his description. You may also consider that he’s had children and that they may be a help in making contact with him. This is relatively easy and can be done in a series of afternoons if you are patient and careful.Failing that, you could start looking on missing person web sites. While this is a grim and unpleasant task, it may result in your locating, if not the brother, then a missing person who looks likes him or matches his description. From there contacting the appropriate law enforcement agency may assist you in discovering whether or not it is , indeed, him. This will take somewhat longer and again may garner you information that is unwanted and painful.Frankly, if this is a serious search, I would suggest retaining the services of a skilled private investigator. They have the time, the skill sets and the contacts to shorten the length of time spent searching. If your brother-in-law is alive and he’s not actively hiding from law enforcement, criminal organizations or intelligence agencies (or is deceased) a skilled private investigator should be able to locate him within hours to several days.Whether or not he wants to renew family times is another matter, entirely.

I Keep Dreaming Of A Long Lost Brother!!!! ?

Dreams are manifestations of our subconscious fears and desires.
The fact you are having recurrent dreams means something.
You could have a brother out there, or you could really be wanting to have another brother out there. If the baby your mom aborted when you were three were a boy, he would be about 3 grades behind you in school and you'd be in school together. Maybe you are really thinking about this more than you realize, and it's turning up in your dreams. When you met your half brother, you probably realized how much you wanted your other brother, and that is understandable.
Some times all the logic in the world takes a backseat to our intuition, and I say what you are dreaming about is very significant.
You may have another brother out there too, but I'd say you are dreaming about what you already know, rather than what could be unknown to you.
You are very close emotionally in your dreams, and that means you are both yearning for and enjoying that same closeness with your other siblings.
I'm really glad you are close to all your siblings, and they are your true brother and sisters, whether you share both parents or not.
You are a loving sister, and anyone would be blessed to call you so.
