How to motivate yourself???-???-???-?

I used to have this problem, and one of the best ways of overcoming it and motivating yourself is to write a list, when you have a clear list of things to do, you will seems more motivated towards them, because you will want to complete them and tick them off :) It helps me a lot, it's also a good reminder.
Anther thing is self confidence, if you're thinking, I'm so unmotivated, I can't sleep, I don't want to do my homework, that's exactly how it will be. You won't sleep, and you won't do your homework, however if you start a bit of optimistic thinking, imagining how you will feel when you get to class on time with finished homework and how much more relaxed you'll feel for it, it may help.
Also lack of direction could be a cause, if you don't have something to work towards, make one, like a goal :) Like finish 10 pieces of homework or get to school on time for a week on the run :)
Once you feel a bit better from this do some exercise, it helps to stimulate the brain and release endorphines which will make you feel happier and give you a sense of self accomplishment :) This will boost your self confidence :)

How to motivate yourself to study?

I did search this on google but it seems like I couldnt find the right answer. Those things like bright future or get the respect doesnt work on me. Its just not enough. So... Help?

How to motivate yourself to workout?

Hahahaha.... I had same problem that your going through. I needed to train for my soccer team but I was so wasted all the time that I didn't utilized it properly. Honestly, it's not an easy thing at all. But what I did helped me and I hope it will work out for you as well.

Take out your notebook and write it down:

1. Past hockey achievements. If so, then bring out trophies, certificates, pictures of your previous hockey achievements and put them in one place in your room where you can see them.

2. Set a time table. Write down all the things that you do first and then write your hockey training workouts. Compare them and if they feel more important then hockey workouts than that's not a good sign.

3. Follow your time table and ask someone to remind you of how important this is to you. If hockey ain't important to you than there is no chance that you'll get motivated at all.

4. Use your phone, ask your bf/gf to help you. Tell your family to memorize you to train for hockey at least once a day.

5. Finally, the most important of all. If you have any favorite hockey players, put there pictures on your wall where you can see them when you wake up and always turn on musics that pump you up for the right reasons.

How do motivate yourself to exercise?

i have a lot of weight to lose in order to become more healthy. at times it seems so overwhelming; i sometimes feel like 'why bother even trying?'. how do motivate myself to exercise when i feel so hopeless?

How do you keep yourself motivated at work?

Firstly, remind yourself that you have chosen to take this job and stay with it. When life feels like it is happening to you, it is hard to remain enthused about it.

But on to the bigger point:
Many times in my life, I have been presented with an opportunity to really achieve my dreams. Even though it seemed that was what I really wanted, I never went for it. It has recently occurred to me that I've always been more terrified of succeeding than failing. Failing I could handle; I'd done it so many times, and while I may not like it, at least there weren't people critiquing my biggest hopes and dreams. You see, people try to stay away from doing things that they have never done before - call it an old survival instinct (back to the days when trying a new berry might have led to an untimely demise.)
But it is the people who went for it - tried the berry! - that have changed their lives and the world. You think the Beatles ever got where they were by holding back? What about your biggest hero in life?

Well, long story short, I kept repeating that to myself; almost made it my mantra. Now, I do things every day that terrify me - completely terrify me! And I couldn't be happier!! The more I put myself out there, the more amazing my life has become.
(Not bad for a girl who until 3 years ago, couldn't even order a meal for herself, eh?)

How can i motivate myself to draw?

ok, sooo like ive been drawing for the past 2 years and ive gotten rather well at it but i can only do simple drawings from simple angles and such
and i really wanna get better, but im really bad at drawing hands, hair and wrinkles in clothing so how can i motivate myself to draw more often so i can get better??
i kinda lose my motivation wenever i see someone better and thts wen i stop drawing D: but ya, i kinda cnt accept mistakes either bc im like a perfectionalist so how can i motivate myself to draw o-o..
