Thanks for A2A I assume you do. However in Accra, the Ghana Immigration Services' office is at Kotoka International Airport roundabout, on your right when you are coming from the Spintex road. If you are in Kumasi their office is at Adum where the Court building is situated, near Poku Trading Supermarket. You can try googling for their number for confirmation. All the best.

It depends as some countries do not stamp your passport when entry and some do not stamp when you exit as well as both. You can check with the immigration office in the country you are in by visiting them or make a phone call if you want, if you have the contact details of the immigration office. Once you contact them, tell them your story and carry on from there.
How does the American embassy in Accra, Ghana involve itself with reported cases of Americans (in the US, not Ghana) defrauded by Ghanaian online scams. Do they do anything beyond handing the case over to the Ghanaian authorities?
I would think the US Embassy being a representative of the US Government would be better placed to help in such cases. The Embassy, has legs in both Ghana and the US. That said, there is no way of knowing the extent of their involvement in such cases but I think they do as much as they can and in collaboration with law enforcement in Ghana. For instance, they may not have the authority to arrest suspects in Ghana, so for that they ask the Ghanaian Police for help.I don’t think they do no more than handing cases to the Ghanaian Authorities because some of our Police Forces in Africa aren’t very good at investigations. US Law Enforcement Agencies are better placed to investigate online Fraud cases, and the Embassy in Ghana would be very helpful since the stuff can coordinate or help with investigations within Ghana. That is why Countries set up Embassies in foreign countries.
