I Am Looking A Pdf Copy Of My Physics Textbook.

Where can i find an online copy of my physics textbook?

I left my textbook at school and i need to do the homework. The book is Giancoli Physics 6th edition. All i really need is the end of chapter problems for chapter 7? Does anyone know where i can find them? Thanks!

Where can I get the solutions manual for the physics textbook: "Classical Mechanics" by John R. Taylor?

I am a big believer that students learn the most when they have access to the solutions manual for their texts. Grading and return of homework by teaching assistants takes too long to be useful, and the solutions to problems are most helpful IMMEDIATELY after solving the problem, so the method you used is still fresh in your mind.

In light of this, I am looking for the solutions manual to "Classical Mechanics" by John R. Taylor, but have not as yet been able to find it. Does anyone know where it can be found?

Thanks!

Physics: 7th Edition Textbook by Cutnell and Johnson?

Cutnell is actually a fairly decent textbook as far as introductory physics texts go. It is a little dry to read (but most physics books are) and has very good tutorials throughout the chapter to show how to use problem solving techniques and the material you are currently studying to solve a wide range of problems. If you can get a hold of a conceptual physics textbook written by Hewitt, it would be a good complement to Cutnell as it explains concepts in a very easy to understand way. Cutnell would be excellent preparation for the AP Exam.

My main suggestions in any physics course regardless of textbook:

1. Focus on conceptual knowledge instead of memorizing equations: How do this work? Why does this work? not What equation do I use?

2. Work on problem solving techniques. Develop a strategy to solve problems. I use the acronym GUESS : Givens, Unknown, Equations, Setup, and Solution. If your teacher is doing his or her job, they will give you some sort of problem solving technique to use.

3. Don't give up when you get confused. This is the biggest mistake people make. Being confused is a normal part of learning a fairly difficult subject like physics. Start by doing what you know how to do and try to work towards a solution.

4. Find a friend to work with. There are volumes of research that show peer-to-peer instruction to be invaluable to learning physics. Find a partner to work with.

I hope these suggestions help and good luck.

From where can I get free books and textbooks in PDF to study physics? What books are the best? I'm in my first year as a physics student.

I think Serway’s books and Feynman’ lectures on physics are very helful books. They cover many topics of Physics. Also, for Electricity and Magnetism, you can use book of David J. Groffiths, the book Introduction to Electrodynamics. As written in the preface of the book, it is designed for undergraduate senior and junior level. The book has topics of Electricity and Magnetism. Also, there is an introduction to Math in the book.

How do I download the book 'For the Love of Physics' by Walter Lewin?

This is one of my favourite book, and professor Walter Lewin is my favourite teacher (I am his student though his YouTube channel)You can download his book from here:Library GenesisThere is good collection of books on this website. You can download in ePUB or PDF format.http://gen.lib.rus.ec/

Which is the best book to clear physics' basic concepts?

There are a lot of books in the market today. NCERT is the most common one but no one likes it much as it doesn’t contain that much examples , exercises and SOLUTIONS.For Physics I won’t recommend NCERT. You will kill yourself with it. Try S.L. Arrora - Simplified Physics. It contains topic in a way that you’ll do it all by yourself. I recommend it to all.If you’ve read it or you think its level is less or something then you can try Resnick Halliday book Halliday-Resnick-Walker2C Fundamentals of Physics.pdf . But try it only when you have the basic understanding of Physics. Its very hard.Or you can do University Physics ( also hard but excellent for Pros ).Just get S.L. Arrora . End of story. For maths, NCERT is fine. You might also want to take a look in these QA.I'm in 11th. Which reference books are the best for science and maths? The best maths books for 11 cbse? I am average student, need these for it self-study, good fundamentals and strong concepts, for the boards exams? How I can improve my physics? These are some questions I answered a week ago. Might come in handy.
