I Constantly Get Baseball Team Reminders On My Cell Phone . How Do I Turn Off Reminders

Will Christians be offended if I wear a shirt with "666" on it?

OK look, I am a Muslim. We believe in the anti-Christ as well. He is known in Arabic as the Dajjal(the deceiving messiah). It's just that unlike Christian, we don't believe in this numerology stuff like 666,etc. So basically "666" doesn't mean anything to us. We do have some ways of recognizing the anti-Christ as the Prophet told us. One of them is that he would be blind in one of his eyes.

Anyway, back to the question. My brother had bought that shirt a long time ago. I sometimes wear it. Actually once, I was in front of a few Catholic girls (my friends) and talking to them but I guess they just didn't notice it. I'm not sure. It's written there pretty large. They didn't say anything and we just kept on chatting. Now, I came across that shirt again yesterday and was a little "confused" as to wear it or not.

Do conservative Christians get offended by it? I don't want to offend my friends though I doubt they are that conservative.

Has collecting baseball cards become a thing of the past?

Most certainly. Collecting trading cards purely for the love of collecting them was what baseball cards meant to over 90% of those who bought them during the first 20–30 years of their existence. Fast forward to the 2000s, aka the ago of mass produced autograph and memorabilia cards, and you can be sure that number is now below 10%. 90% of today’s buyers see them as a commodity, and are only hoping to score those “big pulls” that they can slam on to eBay as quickly as possible to see how much cash they can get for it. Trading cards have transformed from a time honored tradition and hobby, often bringing father and son together in search of those missing cards to complete their sets, to by and large a cold and soulless big business. There does exist however, a significant faction of true hobbyists and collectors who still love simply “possessing” their favorite cards. Long live the hobbyist!

Tough parenting question...how do I help my newly paraplegic daughter?

Apparently there must be a rule with yahoo answers that your first posting must be a lie, and everything after that will be believed.

if you don't believe my story, then skip it and move on to the next question (after checking to make sure they have a history here, otherwise you won't believe them). But to come in here just to say you don't believe my story is VERY "troll" like.

I'm going through a rough time right now and signed up for yahoo answers in a desperate attempt to get some unbiased advice. Either provide that, or stay away.

And for the record, when you're daughter has been in the hosptial for two months--60 days, 1,440 hours--you'll stop saying that's not a long time.

Why doesn't MLB allow ONLY aluminum bats to be used? The wooden bats are VERY dangerious when they splinter...

A ball coming off an aluminum bat is very dangerous. Just imagine a ball hit directly at a pitcher.
