I Don T Take My Birth Control Regularly But I Take It I Start Tomorrow Do I Have A Chance Of Being

Can you get pregnant while on birth control pills?

I am not a doctor, so don't substitute this for medical advice.

Yes you can get pregnant on birth control, especially when you first start or if you miss pills. See your directions that came with the pills for the numbers and what to do if you miss a pill. You should still be cautious, use condoms, etc. BUT that said, birth control can also make you skip your period, so it is a little early to be worried.

Birth control uses hormones. They can do crazy things to your body. Sometimes they make your period more frequent, sometimes less frequent, they can make you moody, etc. It is pretty common for your period to be a little unpredictable for a couple of months when you start a new pill. I would wait for another week or two, then take a pregnancy test. If you are really worried or have unexpected pain, etc see a doctor right away.

Im on birth control (Jolivette) Could I be pregnant?

If your period kinda started the 19th starts the 20th but hardly anything is coming and you have sex no protection and you stop bleeding and you start bleeding the next day and its pretty much spotty from there on out and is just pink every time you check and it’s the 26th could you get pregnant from having the unprotected sex or no because your somewhat on your period but im on birth control and haven’t taken my pill on time but took it every day

Threw up birth control, then had unprotected sex...?

Yesterday, I'm not sure if it was because of alcohol or bad food, but I threw up.
I took my birth control at about 12-12:15 last night. Then, I threw up at about 1:30.
Today, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. Should I be concerned about pregnancy?
What should I do? Should I take two pills today? Or just continue with my one pill?

Is my chance of pregnancy increased?
Please help!

Did you get pregnant right away after getting off birth control?

I had been on birth control for 3 years. I stopped taking my birth control the beginning of December and found out on December 27th that I was pregnant.

Baby dust too you!!! :-)

My LO is only 6 months old and I am already thinking about another one. But then I remeber how sleep deprived I am and I quickly snap out of it.

I had sex will i was not on my birth control and after i took two to get caught back up. could i be pregnant?

The pills did not help, if you are talking about the oral contraceptive, you need to take them for 7 days straight before you are protected. If you were not taking it when you had unprotected sex, then you were unprotected, regardless if you took 2 pills the day after. You needed to take the morning after pill, not 2 oral contraceptives. The morning after pill contains the same hormones the oral contraceptive has, just much much higher. Its equivialant to something like 20 oral contraceptive pills.....much higher than 2 pills anyway! The 2 you took would have had no effect. If you were looking to try and stop pregnancy you should have taken the morning after pill. If it is still within 72 hours (3 days) since you had sex, then I would recommend taking the morning after pill now (sometimes called plan B depending on where you live).

I am just wondering why you stopped the pill? It needs to be taken EVERY DAY regardless of when you are having sex. It is not something you think "ok I will have sex tomorrow, I will start taking them now". They do not work like that. You have to take them EVERY day. Even if you miss just one pill, it will take a week of consistant pill taking to regain your protection. The pill is a type of contraception where you are planning way ahead, not just something to think about in the heat of the moment, or the morning after. It is a contraception method that has to be planned well in advance of the deed.

Lost a birth control pill down the drain. Next one's Week 3 dose. What to do?

You can take tomorrow's pill late tonight. You may feel a bit nauseated from the extra hormone level, since you just took one this morning.

Just keep in mind you will need to use another method of birth control until you start the new cycle of pills next month. You missed a pill at a crucial time of the month, so your chances of getting pregnant have increased.

Perhaps another method of birth control would be better for you, something like that patch, which you don't have to remember on a daily basis.

I forgot to take my birth control this morning and my boyfriend came im me this morning. am i pregnant?

Anythings possible...but u would not be pregnant yet, but u do have a chance..if u have ur pill pack on u , take it today still..but whatever happens happens, women get pregnant sometimes even when they don't ever skip a pill..
Taking a test today won't show anything.. it won't show until about 4 wks pregnant(the time u skip ur first period)
